Chris Evans

As a person, he has a certain quality and elegance in his appearance. He is very charming, but at the same time, he has a sense of youthfulness that keeps him in his 40s, and that makes him even more sexy. Personally, I liked him more in terms of appearance and style, when he was around 30-35 years old.

I was never as obsessed with him as some. But I kinda miss the pre Captain America days when perhaps most of the internet hype he got was coming from queer males. His career was borderline flopping. Yet, so many gay sites were constantly posting him. And he was delivering a lot of thirst trap photo shoots, and every role had at least one thirst trap scene. I got kinda bored with him once he became a legit movie star, starting showing off the body less, and the obvious hair plugs and Botox came into the picture. Still a very handsome and likable dude though.

I love our boi but his team has GOT to find him some better movies/projects IN A HURRY. This is like the fifth or sixth film fiasco in a row. He can't be that desperate for money? He is squandering every bit of the goodwill he has built up over the last 20 years. He is as attractive and talented as contemporaries such as the Ryans- both Reynolds and Gosling, Matthew McConaughey or Sebastian Stan. But they're faring WAY better than him even if the projects and budgets are smaller. He sings and dances very well also. Dude- do a Hugh Jackman shtick and hit Broadway for a spell. But anything is better than what you're doing now. Jesus.

He has some degree of talent and a lot of charm and good looks. But he isn’t the most versatile guy. He really hasn’t shown he can do much beyond charming, sarcastic hunk. I thought he’d do more risky or artsy comedies by this point. But he’s always been fairly safe/boring/money focused with his career choices.

I thought he was terrific in Snowpiercer and very solid in Knives Out. I don't think he's been given a meaningful chance to show range but maybe he and his team haven't fought hard enough for those opportunities. Matthew McConaughey literally lost millions holding out for better roles when he decided to stop doing rom coms. To your point, maybe Chris didn't do the same because he was focused on the dollars and cashing in while he still looks amazing.

I agree, but you can’t be twenty forever, and the film industry is based on appearance, no matter how good of an actor you are. It would definitely be different if he weren’t a world-renowned actor. He has posted video on Instagram in swimwear, and he is in great physical shape, not like when he played Captain America, of course, because he was in better shape back then since the role required it. However, he is still charming and down-to-earth.

Maybe those are the only roles offered to him. Maybe they only see him for those types of roles. I believe that with his contracts with Marvel, he’s set financially for the rest of his life. So, I don’t think he’s working for the money anymore.

I thought he showed his talent and range in the movie Gifted. It is one of my Absolute favorite movies of his!
