Circumcision

Here are post-op images. I'm not too squeamish in the grand scale of things, but just a gross experience. I took the pain meds, and it was oozy & bloody and a smell of death for days, 8/30 - 9/3. I love my own genitals a bit more now.

I am not sure what you mean by later in life. I was circumcised at age 29 with a vasectomy at the same time. I had 0 issues to whine about with either procedure completed. About 2 maybe 3 weeks and I was back in business.


I would talk to the Physician about using glue instead of stitches. Stitches were all that was available back then. Also talk with your Physician about the style of circumcision you want. I am assuming this procedure is cosmetic. Get what you want. Since you are from England I am guessing you will be paying for this procedure. Good luck with this. Keep us informed here about your progress of your procedure. Hopefully someone from England that has been circumcised recently will come in on your thread and give you good information that can be a large help to you in making your decision.

What questions do you have will answer any question you have as long as I know the answer. Medical procedure including circumcision and vasectomy are a bit more streamlined today from what they were in 1969-1970. Such as I had stitches in both the vasectomy and the circumcision and today they can use glue and leaves almost no scar as the stitches left on my penis from the circumcision and my scrotum from the vasectomy. I only took off work a short time but I went back on a Physician visit 2 weeks after the procedure. I was told then I could quit wearing the suspensory for the scrotum and they said the rest of the stitches would come out themselves. I gave them a bit of help when I got home that night. I went back 1 month later and they had me masterbate in a cup with a lid and they tested the ejackulate to make sure I was not fertile. They called me 2 days later and told me it was 100% non fertile. I have not had any problems of any kind with the circumcision or the vasectomy over the years since 1969-1970. I have somewhat loose circumcision but if knowing what I do today I would have got a more tight circumcision but not as tight as some I see photographs here and in porn videos. I never had to use lube to masterbate but the circumcision could have been somewhat tighter and you would not need lube except the first few months maybe. Be completely honest with your Physician about these items so you can get what you want. The Vasectomy was pretty much one way which is the way the Physician does it. Ask him to explain the procedure to you so you know exactly what he is going to do in your scrotum. I wish you the best with your procedure and please let me and everyone here how things went for you. I tell you I was almost as concerned when I had these two procedures done as when I had my first cataract removal surgery I guess because it was my genitals and I got an enormous amount of pleasure from them. I did not want that to be interrupted in any way which it was not.
