Not to derail the thread but majority of y’all are in the LGBT community… you should not be perpetuating false narratives about how pronouns have some sort of correlation to determining sexuality. You’re doing a huge disservice to the community.

Aren't you mixing up correlation and causation? I definitely agree that there is no causal chain (going either way) between one's sexuality and one's preferred pronouns. But there is a significant correlation between having pronouns in bio and being non-straight in some way, statistically speaking (statistics can't tell you anything about any one particular person, of course). Straight cisgender people (90% of the population) have little reason to care about putting pronouns in their bios. That's mostly an LGBT[QIA2S+] thing, hence the correlation with sexuality (most of LGBT, i.e. all of LGB and some part of T, are non-straight).
