I find them a turn off. What say you?

I'm wondering if it's a temporary condition of if you have them you've always had them.

My mother has always said, "Cold hands - warm heart". Personally, I just rub my hands together.

Cold is a turn on to me, as is warm. The temp difference excites me.

Clammy or sweaty hands gets a "oh god he's sick!" and me going into mothering mode. Sweaty has me saying "eew. hes probably nervous, i will discreetely wipe the sweat off"

My grandmother always said that as well, MoT! You have ta imagine it with a Lousianna accent though:smile:

Someone with constantly cold hands won't likely have clammy hands too. That's from nerves. Nerves are temporary.

    MoT?

Nothing worse than the feel of two cold clammy hands gripping your shaft. It has all the sexual charge of being medically examined by Richard Simmons in rubber gloves.

I had a massage therapist once with cold clammy hands and after 5 minutes I just told her that it wasn't working out, sorry, and I got dressed and left in disgust. Why would you decide to become a massage therapist if you were unfortunate to be born with cold clammy hands?

One of my teacher used to say the same thing about clammy hands and what not.

As for me, I do have clammy, cold hands.

I always have. I mean they aren't like that ALL the time, just most of the time. It's because the blood circulation to my hands is kind shitty and I have an anxiety issue, so that attributes too.

If sex is involved I have no problem warming my hands up before the fun starts.

BTW, this is something a lot of people can't help, and it's such a normal factor in their life they forget sometimes. Is that really a reason to be disgusted?

She was stupid maybe... but disgusting?

That makes me feel like you think I'm gross because my hands are cold.

I suppose as the sex gets underway the circulation improves and those hands become hot little fuckers. There is always sweat during sex for me so the wetness is not a problem.

    Hehe, that's usually the case.

Some people aren't into foreplay though. >.>

    Go figure.

My hands are usually very warm, and dry. I put my palms together, and rest them between my thighs sometimes when I sit. If my hands are moist, oily, or scratchy, I warn the person I am about to touch. I need to remember to hold beverages in my left hand. It seems it is inevitable that if I hold a drink, I will have to shake someone's hand.

A very good friend of mine suffered from this in school... I think it was social anxiety. He grew out of it. Eek a massage therapist with cold clammy hands that skeeves me even thinking about it.

I either don't know the meaning of 'clammy' or I had no idea hands could be cold and clammy at the same time! Thought clamminess came from being hot and sweaty?

I thought clammy was cold and sweaty? There is definitely moisture involved, I know that much.

I normally have warm, damp'ish palms. It's not from anxiety or anything like it... just the way I have always been.

It can make me self-conscious at times though, which kind of sucks :squint:

Ah, MoT, Man of Thunder, I get it.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed here.

Oh, don't be silly. You are definitely with the sharper tools. I didn't even know what they were talking about at first - when I was first called 'MoT', I was more than a little confused.

Yeah I just didn't know you could get moist hands from anything other than sweat, which I only get when hot.

Haven't you ever woken up in a cold-sweat after a nightmare? You feel cold, but you are sticky. I know what you mean, though. Nightmare-wise, it's usually the case that you're warm but feel cold - much like when you're ill.

My hands are almost always ice cold and sweaty as hell.

    Definition of Clamminess:

Disagreeably moist, sticky, and cold to the touch: a clammy handshake. 2. Damp and unpleasant: clammy weather.
