Colton haynes

Those people that are dressing up as the terminator or neo aren't painting their skin. There is a historical significance called black face which you aren't grasping

Yes, there is. But you're being doctrinaire about it. What evidence do you have that Colton was even aware of the that issue?

Decades ago I had to explain to a crusader for recycling on our campus why labeling the bins "white only" (as in white paper) and "colored only" (as in dyed paper) evoked Jim Crow-era racism. The kid had no idea, and even initially resisted the notion. I am convinced he was not a racist.

Willful ignorance can only go so far. I get that Colton may not have intended any harm or malice in his costumes

Thanks. But I'm tapping out. This platform is the least appropriate place to have such a conversation.

You are being riddiculous
So you are saying that if I was invited to a vampire themed party I can go as Kietha Sutherland, but I cannot go as Wesley Snipes Blade and If I was invited to a Spice Girls themed party I could wear a Ginger wig and go as Ginger Spice, but I cannot put any colouring to my skin put on an afro and go as Scary Spice?

Can you really not see the ridiculousness in your argument.

Fancy Dress is not Racist unless it was being done with racial intent like dressing up as the KKK.

Honestly, it sounds like some people are angry because he's happy.
Some people are happy doing hard drugs doesn't mean its good for you.
I'm not angry, i just know how this will end, there relationship will not last and it will destroy Colton.
The relationship is a temporary fix for Coltons problems, not a long term healthy solution. Literally every single warning sign is there.

People: *Know literally nothing about Colton's personal life or his relationship. Or how happy he is or the details of his life.*
Same People: "Yeah, no, that won't last at all. His life is going to turn into shit omg wow."

Stfu, let him live his life. If he's happy, let him be happy. You're not psychics, stop acting like you can see the future. He's doing good for himself now and he's happy. Let him live.

No dude. You have a shitty understanding of what racism is. Dressing up as a person of another (real) race for fun, especially when it involves painting skin or some kind of traditional garb, is racist. Period. Don't do it. It's easy not to. There are thousands and thousands of other things a person can dress up as.

In this clip James Corden is able to dress up and impersonate someone of a different race/gender without actually changing the color of his skin which goes to show two things 1. You can dress up like a person of a different race without it being offensive. And 2. The show has enough sense to realise that had he changed the color of his skin for this skit that it would make it offensive

What is it about his relationship that you think it so unhealthy for him? You don't know him personally. You don't know what he needs or gets from the relationship... let alone what he gives to it. If he says he's happy, let it be. There is the artist and the art. Be interested in his work, but the details of his personal life is just that. Personal.

As a person of color, I'm not offended by Colton's actions. It's stupid, but he apologized ages ago and people need to calm the fuck down. I'm willing to bet the people being salty aren't even of color and just want to hop on Colton's dick for every little thing he does. Stop arguing about race on a forum about dick. Go to Twitter for that shit, nobody here wants to hear it.

Can someone delete the last two fucking pages of this thread and let us start over? Someone is seeing warning signs and someone has gay face...can we get back to the non-judgmental thirst without the cotravity of people thinking they know what a relationship is while also sending photos of their asses inside out via message? @thedude_000 knows what’s up.

Thats what i say about the movie White Chicks. Why is that acceptable? If they made the same movie but with a twist and call it Black Chicks people would be sooooo offended. Racism is racism.
