I think that comparing the penis to common household objects is a great way to give people a somewhat objective view on its size. There is less room to cheat if you just put up your dick right next to something that everyone knows. It's much better than e.g. holding it in your hand.
For example my hands are HUGE (I get this comment a lot) so my dick looks smaller in them.
I have posted a couple of comparison pictures in my gallery and I would like to encourage other people to do the same so we can have a more objective way of finding out who's big and who's not
One for the non-gold members to prove that it is thicker than a can of hairspray:
