Lil Nas X was already unabashedly queer/gay before he started making music. He did pipe down a bit once “Old Town Road” got really big. What also helped him was that he blew up early, even before he signed to a label. Troye is not seeing a ton of success. He’s still being pushed, but the numbers aren’t there. We don’t know Conan’s situation as far as how he presented himself before breaking through, how he presents himself to his family/friends, how he feels about his dimensions, and the dimensions of his sexuality or where he is in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum.
