Condoms...why do you use them

I have always one or two in my wallet. When shopping with my g/f, there's a chance we end up in a department store babycare room or a restaurant toilet for a quickie. She likes wearing skirts (one of those numerous reasons I love her for :tongue: ) so in these cases sex is likely full clothed and things have to be clean.

Otherwise, I never use them.

I use condoms primarily because I have respect for myself and respect for sex partners. That respect includes minimizing risk for contracting or transmitting disease. I'm clean so far, and intend to stay that way. Birth control is not an issue.

On a serious note....in hookups with guys, it's all about respect and staying alive. With my wife--who lost her ovaries 3 years ago at age 28--have never used one with her.

In a perfect world with no disease, I would be thrilled to do bareback with every guy I play with. However, not a perfect world, as we all know.

I use them only for birthcontrol, since me and my girlfriend have been in a stable relationship for the last 3 1/2 years. The pill is better of in these cases, but it has to be suspended from time to time.

woop, slow down--WHAT did you say AA? Here are some facts: 1) you are at the wrong age not to be having sex. 2) you are not average. Remember what Aristotle said. Courage does not mean you have no fear. Courage means you act anyway, even though you have fear.

Get out there buddy and get some. Fat, skinny, old, young, good, bad--check some of these people out and let them enjoy checking you out. But wear a condom. Protects you from STDs.

I wish I didn't need condoms but I ain't stupid. I use them so I don't get anyone pregnant. Also odds are no one I have sex with has an STD but I like to be sure so that's another reason I used a condom.

I don't use condom because I don't have sex with anyone. But I strongly suggest everyone use condom for safe sex, and never exchange your body fluid with the people you don't know. I had a cousin and a friend, both died with AIDS.

As for condoms, consider that they do so much good that any reason not to use them is totally untenable.

I'm glad you like to be sure... and thus always use a condom. Because it's a silly assumption to think the people you have sex with don't have an STD. You must ALWAYS assume the person you are having sex with has an STD. For instance, between 20 and 25 percent of the U.S. population is infected with the genital herpes virus. And there ain't no cure for that shit.

Back to the original question... I use them to be safe. Don't know about the rest of you... but I certainly hate them... when wearing one I can't feel a damn thing. May as well shoot my dick up with Novocaine. I can never reach orgasm with one on.
