Corbin Fisher

I don't really believe that, but I decided this needed a deep-dive explanation rather than me just simply saying "You're wrong".

Politics is an ever-changing beast. The political lean of states changes as people move into or move away from certain states. Others are swing states that can't easily be stereotyped. But even in deep red states, there can be liberal enclaves.

Off the top of my head, I decided to take an examination which states models came from. This isn't meant to be a complete list, but anybody that's been left off is because I don't know where they hail from, as opposed to me excluding them purposefully.

Logan, Trenton, Kellan and Brayden are all from Washington, which is a solid blue state.

Brent is from Pennsylvania, which is a swing-light blue state.

Dawson and Aiden are from Iowa. Iowa is a bit hard to categorize. It was a long-time swing state that's creeped somewhat redder in recent years, although if you turn the clock back a year, democrats held 3/4 of their U.S. House seats. Now it's 1/4 as republicans narrowly won a couple of House elections that were held by Dems (one by a mere six votes, one of the closest such contests in history!)

I'm sure Nick was from somewhere in the Deep South, but I don't remember specifically where.

Jeff, Jon (#1), Josh, Dane, Miles and Ashton are all from Florida, which tilts slightly red on the whole. It's a state with an ever-increasing and diverse population that could change at any moment. Obama won it twice and it had a dem Senator for most of the 2000's and 2010's.

TJ and Dylan are from Illinois, which is solid blue.

Cade is from Massachusetts, which is about as solid blue as you can get.

Damon is from Hawaii, which is even more solid blue.

Lucas, Henry and Cody are all from Missouri. Like Iowa, it's another long-time swing state that's gotten redder, although not all the way to solid red yet.

Travis, Timothy, Jude and Chandler are from Michigan. I've lived in MI all my life and it used to be solid blue, but now I would classify it as light blue.

Tom and I think Cory are from Arkansas. Up until 2010, it could best be classified as a red state that still elected a lot of democrats. Now it's a red state that elects a lot of republicans.

I wanna say Cameron is from Kansas, which is fairly solidly red, though it does have a dem governor.

Trey is from Colorado, which has refashioned itself from red to swing to light blue state, all within the last 20 years.

Smith is from South Carolina, which is solid red currently, but people say lots of northerners are flocking there, which could change the political make-up in the future.

Marc, Max and I believe Brady, Kyler, Calan and Zeb are all from California, which is solid blue.

Truman is from Arizona, which has gone from republican stronghold to seemingly light blue.

Quinn and Holden are from Nevada. It's gone from swing state to light blue.

Dave (Elye Black) is from New Mexico, which is blue.

Nash is from Texas. Solid red and has been for a long time, but the state's population keeps changing and increasing. Biden got 46.5% of the vote there and Beto got 48%. It might not be long before it starts voting dem again. Back around the JFK days, dems held both senate seats and every single House seat (LBJ was also from there).

Tristan is from Georgia, which seems to have turned light blue.

Now with all of that being said, I would say most of their models are bisexual to some degree (which probably explains why most of them have updates on both the guy-guy and the coed side). Nowadays, I think they have more "gold-star gays" who have never done updates on the coed side because they don't want to (Max, Elian, Andy, Jared, Tristan).

Wow, thanks for that analysis! That was really extensive.

A few thoughts. 1) If we were really conducting a thorough peer-reviewed study of the political lean of the states that CF models came from, we'd probably have to take into consideration the changes that states have undergone over the 15+ years that CF has been around.
2) While I don't think there's any reason to believe that most CF models are conservative or Trumpy, it's clear that some are, and if we're doing a regional analysis it probably matters much more whether a model is from an urban or rural area. I'd hypothesize that guys who apply on their own to do gay or gay4pay porn are more likely to be from urban areas (because they'll encounter more people who might talk about it), whereas guys who are recruited to do gay4pay porn are more likely to be from rural areas (because they're less likely to know a bunch of friends who watch gay porn, and thus are less likely to worry that their friends will see it.) This is all speculation, of course.

You mention that you'd say most of their models are bisexual to some degree. That suggests to me that you define sexuality at least partly based on acts--ie, a bisexual man is someone who has sex with both men and women. (Would that be accurate?) I'm more inclined to define sexuality based on orientation--that is, a guy who is sexually attracted to men but only sleeps with women because he's in the closet is a gay man, and a guy who is sexually attracted to women and only has sex with men because he needs the money is a straight man. (Obviously, though, sexuality is complicated and there's no way to know what's in someone else's heart.)

Not sure why you are separating gay and gay4pay as different types of porn? They're not. It's all gay porn. So that's a bit weird. Lol

Also. I don't think the "types" of performer has much to do with being rural or urban. You can have gay, bi or straight guys and liberal or conservative guys choose to do porn from any city (depending on their financial need) . I don't think more "gay4pay"/Conservative guys come from rural areas, or gay/liberal guys from urban areas. There is no data to suggest this. Lol it just seems based on intuition to me. Which isn't enough.

I noticed Tom isn't talked about alot here. Was he not a fan fave?

I can't speak for others, but Tom is very popular with me. In terms of both looks and performance, Tom ranks very high up on my list for best CF models for each of those categories. I don't think there was another model that was as adept at both taking and giving punishment as Tom was.

I think a lot of people only know Tom through his classic scene with Smith. And while that is remembered by many as one of the greatest CF scenes of all time and deservedly so, Tom's body of work is so much more than that. In particular, I would suggest to people to watch the trilogy of scenes he did with Connor. As good-looking as Connor is, he's one of those models that would usually need to work with a great performer because his performances were less than consistent. Tom was a great one to pair him with because he can bring out that little extra something in people. In particular, there's a scene where Connor just flat out dominates the hell out of him. Connor has Tom suck his cock, sits on his face, rubs his feet on his face and even jams his undies in his mouth while fucking him relentlessly. It was a fantastic sub-dom scene. Pretty much the only thing Tom didn't do there was taste Connor's cum, but he would make up for that in their next scene together.

There's a lot of great models whose names don't come up for whatever reason.

do you remember the name of the scene that you mentioned?

I wish I had an answer about that. However, there is some that are very professional and do the job without politics or religion involved. For example, when Josh finished his tenure with CF, he briefly worked as their cameraman for a little bit and then became a photographer of his own right. I think he got married a few years ago. He was there for a good five or six years there. He left sometime in 2014 or 2015. I hope I have my history right about that.
That is accurate

I think “gay4pay” is a term of art that suggests part of the appeal or brand identity of the porn is that one or more of the performers would not be having gay sex if he weren’t getting paid. Corbin Fisher used to play to this idea a lot, emphasizing their models’ “first time with a guy!” and so forth. But you are correct; it’s all gay porn.

I don’t think that the percentage of gay or straight guys is different in rural vs urban areas, but I think guys in cities are more likely to know gay people because there are more people in cities to know. If you grow up in a town of 200 people, you are likely to encounter fewer of most types of people.

I do think that, in the United States, people from cities and suburbs are somewhat more likely to be liberal and people from rural areas are more likely to be conservative. The correlation between population density and political lean is very strong in the U.S. these days, and there is a lot of data to support that.

I will agree that urban cities tend to be more Liberal and rural towns more Conservative. Sorry if I implied that wasn't the case. Not my intention lol.

I think what I meant to say was that despite this trend, I think there is not much correlation when it comes to actual porn recruitment. I think its just as easy for a broke straight conservative guy to come from some rural town and do gay porn just as much as a bi curious progressive dude or a closeted gay guy who wants to use porn as an outlet for his inner passions. Lol. And the same would be true of an urban city as well. In my view.

It seems like the majority of the models do come from rural areas. It would make a great HBO documentary for sure. Though in some occasions, they have the typical European types like Cain and Jayden that were born in the US, but their parents were from Europe before moving there. Cain is Romanian American, I believe.

With all the talk about Kent, I'm going back to watch all his stuff. I think I'm falling in love.

When Kent is at the peak of sexual excitement, our boy gets very flush on his neck, shoulders, and pecs. It's more noticeable in some vids than others because of the lighting, but the pattern is always similar. I guess not all the blood is rushing, ahem, down there. :grinning:

Here's what I mean. Kent fucks Brayden:

Not that I've become obsessed with Kent ... ;)
