I have this feeling his ticket/book/music sales weren’t doing too well and his team was like, “Yeah, this EDM slut era ain’t it for your wallet right now. Back to Christmas tours and gentle Dave.”
No reason that he can't do both. His book did spend several weeks on the NYT Bestseller list.
…. But it ain’t there now. His hype is a tad low, so I’m sure they just moved the dialed back to see what’s going to get the clicks and coins. I want him to be NASTY, but I’m sure he’ll do another Christmas cover instead.
Cause what he's been on got old REAL fucking fast. He wasn't even being a slut/bad boy forreal. He can't break that Mormon hold forreal

Well... you can't just ignore the fact that his income relied heavily on Christmas tours before coming out. Somehow the 45+ white women who used to drool over him are still loyal after all. They used to giveaway copies of everything David was releasing at the moment to everyone who asked on his fansite comment section, with international tracked shipping. They used to travel the country and watch his show multiple times and meet. They got the coin.
I can't see the newly targeted "yas gawd sabrina carpenter creme brulee shirtless dance" demographics spending money to see live renditions of Ave Maria and Crush with that same arrangement of 18 years ago, so...

If Christmas tours sell theres nothing. wrong with continuing to do that.
In his memoir he spoke of how important to him Christmastime has always been, and after coming out and leaving the Mormon church there was likely a strain on that ability to cherish the season in the same way, so I’m happy for him if he is learning to reclaim some joy around that, and make some money along the way as well.
Books don't typically stay on the bestsellers list all year long. The fact that his book made it there is an accomplishment. I doubt he's struggling financially.
But the Warm Me Up video was hot as hell. He's really turned into a sexy lil dancer and hip shaker.
I meant to save this video but thanks for the screencap. David and these thicc ass thighs are everything. If i don't get to warm him up, i hope some raging, bullish, dominant top gets the opportunity
Fair enough, but he ain’t pulling the same clout as he did when he came out and got more acclimated to the community so we’ll probably see him cover up and hit the chill while we gets that Christmas cash. He’s so cute.

He did go blond for a while after coming out. He eventually came to his senses, hopefully he'll do so again.
