Labels are messy and often times not very coherent. It's possible he is attracted to women but maybe wants to identify as gay for any number of reasons? Lol Idk

Even before this recent interview it was pretty easy to surmise that he was trying to say he’s “mostly ‘gay” and has homo ambitions. While unless people make their identities a point, trying to pin people to a particular word serves no purpose. Sexuality, fluidity, sense of self, ego, psychology, the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, relationship comfort, emotional investment, commitment spectrum are all individual stuff. And we need to respect that. At least he’s not trying to use past hetero relationships or whatever hetero attractions or affections he has to retain hetero-normalcy and hetero appeal. That’s difficult on a lot of guy’s egos, especially if they’re religious and/or not entirely, thoroughly homo. The whole “Jesus told me being ‘gay’ is fine” thing is something else. But whatever.

This was so painful to watch. I hate that he had to go through all that for so long. I know it's not what he would want for anyone to get from what he's said, but it made me hate religion even more.
