A few days ago I received a PM from someone who referred to me as "demented". Actually, the exact wording was that I had a "demented mindset". I pondered a bit as I had never been called that before, and then I looked it up. I never knew it had that many meanings.

Never heard that one before. I like it.

That's a good one. Never heard it before and I love cornbread.

    I've heard that.

Point to the head and say, Lots of windows ... no light.
(Actually, I'm translating an expression I heard in France, but I think I've since heard it in English, too.)

How about she's got bats in her belfry? Or she's driving in circles on a straight highway?

After reading this thread yesterday I got the evening paper and the word 'doolally', or a play on it, was plastered accross the front page. It was in reference to Amy Winehouse though....

His elevator doesn't reach the top floor.

    He's lost his marbles.

He is a few bricks shy of a load.
