Disposing Condom

I guess it's more of a sarcastic statement. Ir's unimaginable to me that there are people on this Earth who are so ignorant to the world around them and how it works - that they would think it's ok to flush things like condoms. The only logical answer is that they just don't care.

Or. They just haven't been allowed much information on sex to begin with for religious reasons. Live in specific areas and are trying to hide who they are and haven't given it much though. Or they live in places where they aren't as available and so on.

What does religion have to do with flushing inappropriate things down the toilet?

You said it yourself...they just haven't given it much thought. Carelessness.

Maybe wrap them in tissue if you're going to flush them although it's not a great idea flushing them into the sewer, especially here in the UK where we have a lot of ancient sewers that can be prone to blockages.
I just put them with the rest of the rubbish, we always use bin liner bags so no reason to wrap them in tissues though

What does religion have to do with something religious people have been against since it's conception? Is that what you're asking? What does the proper way to dispose of contraceptives have to do with groups of people who were against contraceptives when they were first created, against it when they were given out to keep as many people from getting hiv and aids, were against sex education being taught in schools, was against sex education being taught in churches and who still to this day try their level best to hide anything even relating to sex from all walks of life?

Is that what you're asking me?

Christian views on birth control - Wikipedia

[In 2003, the BBC's Panorama stated that church officials have taught that HIV can pass through the membrane of the latex rubber from which condoms were made. It was considered not true according to the World Health Organization.[26]

In an interview on Dutch television in 2004, Belgian Cardinal Godfried Danneels argued that the use of condoms should be supported to prevent AIDS if sex with a person infected with HIV should take place, though it is to be avoided. According to Danneels, "the person must use a condom in order not to disobey the commandment condemning murder, in addition to breaking the commandment which forbids adultery. ... Protecting oneself against sickness or death is an act of prevention. Morally, it cannot be judged on the same level as when a condom is used to reduce the number of births."[27] In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI asserted that handing out condoms is not the solution to combating AIDS and might make the problem worse. He proposed "spiritual and human awakening" and "friendship for those who suffer" as solutions.[28] In 2010, Benedict in an interview which was published in the book Light of the World: The Pope, the Church and the Signs of the Times, when asked whether the Catholic Church were not opposed in principle to the use of condoms, stated:]

So flushing condoms down the toilet, which will eventually clog and require a plumber to come and remove said condoms from your sewer line is a better way to hide evidence of your sexual activity from the world than just discreetly wrapping in tissue and throwing in the trash?

Does the Catholic church have condom brigades that go around and search people's garbage that I don't know about?

That's the most convoluted, and frankly "out there" response I've ever received in my life. Thank you for the entertainment.

As I said...there are some things that are just common sense among people living in a civilized world. Flushing prophylactics or anything other than pee, poo, or toilet paper is one of them and has nothing to do with a lack of sex education or anything pertaining to religion.

What? Who said it was? lol I sure didn't.

Did you refuse to even look at the links i posted?

(As I said...there are some things that are just common sense among people living in a civilized world.)

Do you mean like the moon landing being real, the planet isn't flat, big foot does not in fact exist, that vaccines don't cause autism and that there are more than just two political parties? Common sense things like that?

(Flushing prophylactics or anything other than pee, poo, or toilet paper is one of them and has nothing to do with a lack of sex education or anything pertaining to religion.)

Lets recap. You're saying that how to dispose of something people use during sex has nothing at all to do with sex education? And that religion has never in the span of humanity ever blankly been against all sex education? Cause if you are, i'd say that's not a very nice hill to die on. Metaphorically speaking.

Yes. Because they are irrelevant.

Bro. There's fucking instructions on the box that clearly state how to dispose of them if you're unable to figure it out yourself, lazy, received poor sex education or any other nonsense you're talking about.

Don't you have to...oh i don't know....get the box first before you can read it? What part of religious people in many parts of the world are highly against all sex education and anything even closely related to sex don't you get?

I would have thought that would be the easy part. And then wondering how many people they've effected was the hard part.

When I use condoms I've always wrapped them in toilet tissue. Just seems a common courtesy if you're not at home. At home I don't use condoms and seldom entertain.

Lately I’ve been having to use condoms and what brought about this question was when the next morning when I went to put in the trash and left, it became a conversation about how i didn’t “properly throw the condom out” lmao. I really didn’t know there was a common courtesy rule

To me, it still seems a bit much but I do think it’s interesting to know that other dudes actually do it

Well if they have such a lack of sex education what are they using condoms for in the first place? If they are so ignorant that they can't figure out what they should and should not flush down the toilet, then where did they get the inspiration to use a condom in the first place? Proper use and disposal isn't really something that should take more than a minute to discuss. I never had a proper sex ed class when I was young.

Again, your argument makes absolutely no sense. It's common sense. You wouldn't flush a pair of old socks down the toilet would you? No. You wouldn't shit in the sink right? Of course not. You don't need any special type of education to figure that out. If you're trying to hide who you are, that's also stupid because the potential problems you would create will bring more attention to you than discreetly disposing in the trash.

And FWIW, the guy who posted here about flushing them and sparked this conversation obviously isn't sexually oppressed or uneducated so...

In the old days condoms were washable. Turn the condom in side out and dispose of the cum under a running tap, allow the condom to dry then a light dusting of talc and ready for use again. Worst part was making sure all the cum had been removed from the teat which was a bit tricky to tun inside out.
Then in the age of the disposables came the throw away condom, ribbed, extra strength and flavored. Anyone with a jot of intelligence would realize that these would not rot down, would be dangerous in a flush loo and so work out where to dump them. In the trash, preferably not in a tree

(And FWIW, the guy who posted here about flushing them and sparked this conversation obviously isn't sexually oppressed or uneducated so...)

How old are you? What exactly would them not being sexually oppressed or uneducated have to do with people existing who are? Isn't that like say someone on the street has five dollars so those in extreme poverty elsewhere aren't really starving? With their being absolutely positively zero logical attachment to both. How stupid do you think the rest of world knows this comment is?

And no, no one else started anything. I made a casual comment that people exist who weren't informed about how to dispose of a condom. That some may have never even thought to look at the directions. That other religious people and religion in general may have forbade them even buy condoms to begin with.

Then YOU took issues with it. YOU and only YOU. There is no conversation. There is no debate. YOU took issue and YOU are wrong. Only you. Add to that the fact that you don't think it's possible for anyone within the human race to not have the funds for condoms, to not have read the package, to not have received any sex education, to not flat out ignore the package and so on while attempting to say and imply that i'm somehow not using common sense is hilariously wrong.

Keep in mind. No one made you take issue and most people are purposefully ignoring the both of us for this. Also keep in mind that humanity is extremely diverse. So let me guess, it would blow your small mind to learn that some people in the world...don't have computers or smart phones. OH NO!!!! THAT CAN'T BE TRUE! i saw someone with a computer and a smart phone the other day so that can't be for realsees. I mean really.

(Well if they have such a lack of sex education what are they using condoms for in the first place?)

And here we see in your mind sex and condoms are somehow automatic. As if any time two consenting adults decide to do said nasty that a condom magically appears in the sky for them to knock boots with. You illogically jump miles maybe even cities across sex to get to a condom being given to someone by the graceful always on time condom fairy. You know the one. The one that look likes anderson cooper wearing a pink suit. Whose wings are in the shape of a viagra pill. Yeah that one.

Some call him the conception angle. Others just call him steve. He can jump the height of even the tallest erections in seconds flat. And run faster than a speeding horn dog at the sound of my parents aren't home. It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's..why did you automatically assume condoms were included in sex with all human beings all around the world? Could it be because you didn't put much thought into this? And also don't when it comes to other things?

(If you're trying to hide who you are, that's also stupid because the potential problems you would create will bring more attention to you than discreetly disposing in the trash.)

You mean, trying to hide that you're gay in a country in which you'd be murdered if it got out? That what you mean when you talked about hiding who you are?

Once my condom is full of my cum load and I withdraw from my wife, she always likes to remove the condom from my dick. She enjoys seeing how much cum I produce. Ever since I was in high school and started to masturbate I have shot huge loads of cum. I remember the first time masturbating that I produced some cum. I thought something was really wrong with me in that I produced so much cum. Later in the week I masturbated again with the same results, so I knew it was OK to have so much. After removing the condom my wife places it in the garbage can. Flushing it could create a problem in the sewer line so we don't take a chance on that. I use an extra large and depending on the brand they fit well. Due to so much cum I use condoms that have extra "head space" so I have more room in the condom for the cum. If my wife masturbates me we still use a condom to keep the cum from flying all over us and the bed. I enjoy condoms and enjoy having my wife roll them on my dick.

I tie it in a knot (a simple overhand knot, for those why just "have" to know...), and throw it in the trash. All my trash cans have liners, else I would wrap it in kleenex...just 'cause the outside of the condom is wet with vaginal or anal secretions and would be messy in a naked trashcan.

I'm the same. When I use a condom, I put it on loosely, so I have more than just the teat for ejaculated semen. I wish I could sell the stuff...

tie it in a knot, wrap in lil bit of tissue and throw it away.

at home i don't use liners (less plastic waste) so it's better that way. plus, random scenarios happen (a guest, a friend using the bathroom, a maintenance or repair person in your bathroom), i just don't want to make someone look directly at my human waste lol.

the same reason public restrooms will often provide garbage cans with lids in women's restrooms in case someone is throwing away a pad/tampon. maybe it's outdated modesty but i'd rather try and not make people uncomfortable if it's easily avoided.
