DJG a rockstar? AGAIN?!?

Hello everyone...
as you know I have moved back to Los Angeles...

and well... some of you may know that in a previous life, when I was 21 or so, I was in a signed band, and we went all over...

well this week I passed an audition for a new band, well actually it is a band that has been together for a while, but they are re-tooling and re-inventing themselves.. and I landed the spot for the lead guitar!
yay!!!

so what does this mean for DJG?

it means a lot of work, they want to start recording in the next few weeks, and be out on the road in the fall!!

im pretty excited..

I will post more on this when I can...

(I dont want to jinx anything, or give out any details yet)

hmmmmm
it isn't like the strokes, but it has that kind of appeal..
I will definitly have an influence to what they sound like..
it would have to be labeled 'punk' or 'alternative'
but very listenable...

alkaline trio,
greenday
ect..
but much more modern..

I live in the live music capital of the world. :X Bands don't get me starstruck anymore. lol Half the people I know are in bands, vocalists, or djs. I can respect a man who can strum a clit like a guitar though.
