Size queens will tell you different, but I'm around 5"-5.5" thick and I've had girls have trouble taking me in at first. I've pleased them just fine.

I'm about this size in girth, and yeah, have had some girls that had trouble taking me. 5" is over average by a slight bit - you'll be just fine.

On balance I think it's safe to say that the average straight woman does not care/worry/obsess about penis size nearly as much as the average straight man, who may be insecure about how he fits into the pecker pecking order.
