To be honest I feel like they are done with YouTube. The vlogs aren’t as popular and they views will continue to go down. I think they know that. They don’t want to keep being the old young and hyper versions of themselves so I’ve been expecting a “this is the end” video for ages. I go by the moles and link it with their name.
Since Grayson has a mole on his chin, I think of graychin and Ethan has a mole on his cheek and I think of cheekthan and that usually works for me

the only time i was able to tell them apart was when they had different hairstyles.
i literally can't tell them apart otherwise. small things like moles/beauty marks and face shape don't do it, that's not enough of a big difference. i need something that's drastic enough that it stands out right away, such as different hairstyles.
some people probably use the tattoos, because they don't have copies of each other's tats. but if it's like a closeup and you can't see the tats, it's impossible to tell

Ethan’s got a longer chin while Grayson’s is more rounded and the mole on Ethan’s cheek. At certain angles and expressions they’re indistinguishable, though, like when Ethan posted those photos of him pretending to be Grayson a few months back.

There's a few ways. Grayson is overall bigger and slightly taller. He's also "prettier" while Ethan is more rugged and slender. Ethan also has the bigger chin and plumper lips.
