Today I was cruising Sniffies . Com when a supposed local guy connected with me, showed me his cock pix and even his face pic. He asked for mine but I didn’t have any. He insisted I go take some to share—even my face. He said he wanted to get together so we exchanged cell phone numbers. I texted him. Nice to meet you, he said.

Then He said he knew me. I was sick inside. He proceeded to text my photos back to me. Texted my wife’s name and said I needed to do what he asked if I knew what’s good for me. I didn’t recognize him. Doubt now that he knows me.

I’m scared spitless. I blocked his cellphone but not sure what else to do. He found my physical address online from my phone number. Extortion I didn’t stay long enough to hear his demands.

Help

Really sorry for your experience! Can't answer for what to do next... Other than to notify Sniffies of his actions.

This is a reminder that our phone numbers are more important to hold on to than even our SS numbers. I use Gmail on my phone to do direct contact with them. If they don't like it... I ignore them and move on.

Hopefully he's bluffing and will move on. At the least block his number.

You didn't give him any photos, you never met in person... So he didn't have any evidence you did anything. I understand it's the worst feeling. But really, the guy has no ammunition. So try to rest easy.

If he contacts again, go to the police.

Roxx.

Yes, I did give him photos. Nude

With your face? You could just say he hacked your phone and the photos were only for you to see how you compare. Delete the text from your side.

If he tries to connect again. You either call cops, or bikers...

I'm probably giving bad advice here. : unamused:

Don’t you lie to the police. If it comes out you lied, you will be ignored. If you get any demands from him that constitute blackmail, make a complaint to the police. Complain anyway to the website that you feel uncomfortable and threatened from this person. You won’t find out who it is. Other than that just put it behind you and carry on with your life- you have done nothing wrong or illegal. If there is any more contact from this person who knows you, remember HE was on the website too and probably does not want his circle to know as well. Do not submit to any blackmail attempt. I would expect you not hear further, but you should complain to the website- this person must be removed from social interaction there for bring intimidating.

You gave your cell phone and eventually nude pics with face. My guess is he used your face pic and searched the image, maybe found your facebook from that search (where he got your wife's name). Or he may have done a more extensive search to find out more about you. If you emailed him at all the IP address can be tracked to named owner as well. So he knows general information about you. I doubt he knows you. His pics he sent to you probably are not him as you would have recognized him as well. I'd just let it blow over. I'd also report him immediately to sniffies.com They even may have his IP address to pass on to authorities should you decide to go that way.

Very solid writing. Thanks for your incite.

Lawyer up.

Go the police.

File the report.

Work with your lawyer to get Sniffles to come clean on who the person is.

Work with the police and a private investigator who specializes in tracking people on the internet. You have his phone number. Presuming said person is stupid, it's not a burner number. The private investigator, hell, even the police, should be able to track which network the phone is on: ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile. They can subpoena the company for the name attached to the account.

Ultimately this person can either be found or not. Sniffles will/should want to work with you to avoid any sort of bad publicity.

Wow. So scary to start down that path. I’m known in my community. Your response is so appreciated. It’s been three days and nothing has happened so far. But he has my address. His cell is traceable to Alabama.

That's really sad to hear.

As a warning, unless you are in the adult entertainment industry, you shouldn't be sending anybody nude pics with your face. You have no idea where they will end up.

It’s been about four days since I was confronted on Sniffies by the extortionist. So far so good. I’ve been watching the mail and email. Haven’t heard anything though I’m still anxious about my nude pix being on display somewhere. I locked down social media. But have thought any electronic post could be traced back to the bad guy. That’s all for now.

It’s been 16 days since the extortion attempt on Sniffies. I appreciated your responses and will never make those mistakes again. Being extremely hard up and horny made my common sense evaporate. Thankfully, nothing has happened as yet. I have a watchful eye on mail and driveway security camera.

So since no one else is going to man up and tell you the truth you need to hear, I guess I will......I find it very hard to sympathize with someone whom is the architect of their own destruction.
How you fix this is you go back in time, you either make your wife wholly aware of your homoerotic extracurriculars so that she can't be embarrassed, or you make sure your interactions online live up to the commitment you pledged to your wife...
I get that people get victimized online, blackmailed in this way...I myself have had Facebook posts/comments screenshotted and sent to my wife to try to implicate me, but all that could bring up is a healthy debate and disagreement, because I've made clear the expected boundaries in the relationship with my wife, and I'm not going behind those and my wife's back by getting jollies online.
I wish you the best, and I wish no strife upon any man or marriage...and I can understand you wanting to protect your public perception....but this doesn't go away/get better in the home until you are honest with your wife so that she can make the decision of whether or not to stick with you, even despite your betrayal...the more you hide, the sharper and heavier Damacles's sword gets.

I've seen this kind of thing before and a lot of it is someone with a few skills in finding information. People get a thrill from agitating others and getting them upset about being exposed. So much info about us is already publicly available that just a few small details about someone will give you a lot of data. A phone number can give you an address. An address entered at the county tax website can give you details about the homeowner. It takes a little work, but you can get a lot of stuff removed and keep as much as possible of your private info out of public view. You can't get all of it deleted but some is better than none. When it comes to adult websites I have a separate email address that I only use there and for texting, I use a google voice account. When I have a level of trust with someone, then they can have my real phone number.

Ahhh the internet , what a wonderful way to fuck some ones life up , this goes on millions of times a day ,, You send photos , expect some day to get bit in the ass
As long time ago , I got an email from this clown , he said the same thing ( I have photos of you ) , I guess the idiot didn't know that at that time you could find his IP address on his e mail address ,so I played his game mailing back and forth asking specific questions to narrow it down . A rank amateur at best , I found him after 3 or 4 months .
Saw what he was driving , then one night I took a five gal gas can poured it over his car and through the can through his windshield , then tossed my lighter in the car , it burnt to a crisp . I never got another message from him .I don't cry about something like this I go after them
