I lost any interest in what you think when I saw you abuse someone for speaking freely on a thread where they were invited to do just that (on a forum specifically created to give posters a place where they would have no fear of expressing themselves freely, no less. Irony thick enough to choke on, that).
Your regard is no loss.
The only reason I made this personal is that you, as a person, had the nerve to chastise others for doing the exact same thing you yourself did, and supported.
You say my pointing out your hypocrisy doesn't affect your point. I say you can't decide what your point is. First, it seemed both, then, when you finally decided to clarify, it was censorship you decried, now, having lost that flag to wave, it's groupthink.
Normally I'd insist you pick one but in this case it doesn't matter because you are wrong to think that you, in particular, are in a position to sound off indignantly on either.
The thread whose right to exist you fought for was seeking to incite groupthink to effect the silencing of another member. To see you shake your finger at the OP or the other thread participants when you have praised such behaviour for less cause elsewhere is nauseating.
Your "point" in this thread, as I see it, is to appear holier than thou. If you dare to preach what you don't practice then what you're spouting is pointless.
