It could be fun to share our favorite remixes of songs. I'm thinking of songs where there is an obvious difference between the original/normal/regular version and the remix.

I'll start with Soul II Soul's "Pleasure Dome". I think it's amazing what Booker T made out of the song (not that I don't like the normal version).

Great idea! Here's a remix of Whitney, a cover/remix of Piaf by In-Grid (en Francais), and a remix of Cher!

Here's another one: "Sometimes" by The Brand New Heavies. Great original and great remix from Louie Vega and Kenny Dope.

I was more thinking of remixes where a song from one artist was remixed to sound differently, e.g. in the examples I posted it's the same song by the same artist. Your post has the same song by different artist, which I would consider to be a remake/cover version.

Did your cock shrink all of a sudden? ;)

I prefer The Latin Excursion over the regular version of "Get Get Down":

I stumbled across a remix of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" done by Todd Terje today. It's pretty cool in my opinion.

Kate Ceberano "Time To Think".
I love the original, but the Smash'N'Grab 12" blows me away...
