Had been following the pair of them on Instagram until today. Couldn't handle the pretentiousness & the self righteousness of the both of them anymore. Thinking they're changing the world by getting 40 people to occupy a bridge & disrupt traffic for a couple hours, it's just ridiculous. They literally rose to prominence by being twins and being good looking, and they both know that. And i think that's something they both struggle with, Jack in particular. So he really wants to be an artist & change the world and steer so far away from what made him popular in the first place which was making stupid little 4 minute videos that 13 year old girls loved.
i really don’t get it. why are y’all pressed? they’re using their “fame” for something good unlike some other youtubers. i also really don’t get why y’all think they’re pretentious or anything else lmao. they’re using their voice to speak out against things that they want to change. let them be.

Eh you'd be surprised. I've seen some average guys look amazing in 24 hours given the chance and effort. You have to remember they were "pros" from the start. Their parents were already famous in the UK media circles. They had professional cameras and lighting, and I'd imagine makeup, too. They were doing BBC stuff with that kid from Maze Runner years before they popped up on Youtube.
Also, I typically don't give a shit about my appearance apart from working out and being fit. I'll keep facial hair for weeks and trim and don't do much with my hair. Give me 1-2 days and that changes a lot. These guys developed their fans and they want to be seen as old and mature by older people, who they speak with often. If you look like a cute button twink, that won't fly as easily.

You are so fucking stupid. I will never understand people who try and belittle environmental activists via their use of transportation. How you manage to correlate greener environment with primitive technology baffles me.

Planes run on fossil fuels. Didn't you know that? Or is it just an inconvenience to use row boats for environmentalists? Seems they can be environmentalists when it suits them. Typical hypocrites.
On top of it, they were trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific flights for leisure and vacations, not a necessity. *That's* really at the heart of it. No one is expecting them to never fly in a plane, but taking multiple vacations in a year on the literal other side of the world? seems like they can brush that off but then trying to shame people for dairy is whack.
