they did have actual sex in some scenes because those two are familiar with each other outside of filming the movie and weren’t concerned about sti’s and such and in the scenes where it appears that they were just humping or pretending, it’s because one they may not be sure of the status of that co star and also because they shoot more than one sex scene in a day to save time. So it’s easier to just dry hump through the shoots.
