Our showers have curtains but are roomy, sauna is coed sadly. In the locker room I’ll still carry my towel to the showers down the skinny hallway of sinks. No reason to get a clean towel sweaty before washing yourself off. Almost no guys my age shower, it seems like.

At my gym I walk naked from the shower area to the lockers towel in hand. I'm usually the only one that does that. Everyone else wraps up.
At the pools the showers are communal and open so I shower naked and then walk naked back to the lockers. Most guys do that too. A bit more showy.

I always strip down at the locker, then grab my towel and walk to the showers, holding my towel beside me.

Walking back I almost always wrap the towel around myself. Sometimes I’ll hold it loosely in front. In my locker room, walking back uncovered would feel almost too exhibitionist, since most don’t shower (5 large stall showers). But I don’t know why I feel like that, since I do walk to the showers nude.

Maybe walking away from the showers feels easier to walk naked, rather than back toward the locker room. Although I have walked by people anyway who were washing hands, coming out of the bathroom, or taking mirror pics

I mean, it wouldn't make sense to wrap a clean towel around a sweaty body, so walking nude with the towel in your hand on your way to the shower should be the most natural thing. If people can't handle seeing a dick for a couple of seconds they should stay away from the locker room, as changing and showering is the whole point of why locker rooms exist haha!

On your way back from the showers it makes more sense to wrap a towel around you but don't think it should be looked at weirdly if you decide not to. You're either way gonna drop the towel in a few seconds when putting on your underwear (unless you're a towel dancer), so you cares if they see some dick for a few seconds longer. People honestly need to chill. We all have a dick, some bigger and some smaller. Get over it

Since college days most gyms had open gang style showers, so I'd usually strip off and walk to showers with towel over arm and carrying shower gel in the other. You'd hang your towel on a hook and shower with around a dozen other naked men. So there was never much thought or need to be bashful.

For the last 10 or maybe 15 years, gang showers have been phased out, and it's all cubicles. I get weird looks for being naked in the changing rooms these days so I tend to put towel around my waist for the trip to/from shower if the gym is busy. When it's quiet, it's naked all the way, I enjoy that little bit of freedom!

I workout in the late afternoon at the gym in my office building. Usually not crowded so I see no need to cover up. My experience has been everyone is going about their own business to care.

I leave my towel in my locker because some a-h will steal it. Yes, the cheapest generic, plain, white towel from Target, nothing special, but it was the only one hanging on the hook next to my shower stall. No way it could be confused with another towel.

I stepped out and it was gone. Not sure how the guy took it without me seeing so I must've had soap on my face at the time. I stood there next to the showers air drying and honestly getting a bit aroused with my predicament, but ducking into the dry sauna let me dry off more quickly so that became my new method. I haven't lost a towel since.

Showers at my gym are stalls with doors which to me implies a little more modesty in the locker room so I walk to and from showers with towel around my waist but will undress and dress without covering up at my locker. It is a men's locker room after all and some degree of nudity should be expected in my opinion.

I generally take all my clothes off at my locker. Then walk to the shower with my towel in my hand. Then walk back the same way. No need to cover up in my opinion.
