What I don't understand is why did he stop? There's this whole "silence isn't consent" thing, so either a) she or somebody else spoke up and told him to stop, or b) he decided to stop himself. Does anyone know what made him stop going any further? I'm only half-following this story.

I don't know if he necessarily intended to take it further or if he just wanted to feel. If he did want to go further, I think the party just ended and they left at the same time. There was a tiny bit they talked about where when they left, they both went the same direction and he offered to let her take the elevator with him, but she separated from him there.

It seems like they cuddled for a few hours, in that time he placed his hand further up her body, they continued to cuddle and then the night fizzled out.

In this time, her friends had left, and she stayed.

They said goodbye at the elevator, continued to DM a little afterwards, and then she posts this video months after.

Really, this situation isn’t one of SA, it’s one that showcases that implied consent exists, and if you’re uncomfortable, make it clear to the person you’re with!

That’s my opinion on it.

Yeah, that's my take-home too. Also he's more experienced and thought it was going one way, she's inexperienced and didn't read the situation. I think the whole thing is a lack of communication
