Going Grey

Young'uns please try to stifle your amusement, your time is coming.

I have found, to date, seven grey hairs. I knew it would happen someday and I thought I was prepared for the eventuality. Apparently not. Naturally I plucked each immediately upon discovery but it didn't relieve the feeling of deflation.

For those of you who have experienced this moment as well, please share your stories so I'll feel a little less depressed.

Oh, and just to amuse you all, I'll share the worst detail. None of them were on my head.

Only 7 gillette? You'll be ok. I have like 61, but they are on the sides of my head, and you don't notice them because I wear my hair long.

Depressed? I´d kill for grey hair. Like Goerge Clooney. My father has it, my mothre has it, my sisters have it, i´ve got a nephew 21yo who has some grey hairs. I wanna but i haven´t. If we could make a change ...

Gillette: Worry not. By the time you go grey where anyone would notice with the lights on, you are wise enough to be uninterested in anyone who would care.

Alright, at the risk of being less funny than I thought I would be, I would just say, don't worry about it Gillette. If it is a pube thing, you could shave them.

No big deal. In my case, glad it has remained fairly thick, and it is still in the stage when it looks like it is highlighted.(I'm 51)
My Grandfather's was pure white by 30, but remained full his whole life, he looked like an admiral, so they made him one.

Oh please, I was born with one grey hair on my head and they have rapidly multiplied since then. Consequently, I have been coloring my hair since the age of 12. I noticed my first grey pube at 28, that was distressing!

My cousin was about 35 when she discovered her first grey pube. She cried to her mother that her stuff was getting old. Since my cousin has always been a fast piece of baggage as they used to say in the south, her mother responded, "Baby your stuff isn't getting old it's just getting tired." ROFLMAO :biggrin1:

What's really fun is when you have to start plucking grey neck hairs. I watch my mother do this and am still mildly horrified.

Yes Lex! What hair grows on my head some would be grey. I dont mind i lost my hair. One thing that pisses me off. I get my haircut more now than when i had hair.

I misunderstood, proceed to cry, wail, scream, and rend your garments. You are entitled.

I am not menopausal but I will say that the luxe fluffy bush I had in my youth has defintely thinned. I think this may be the real reason the Brazilian Wax is sweeping the nation. It's easier than looking at grey pubes.:redface:

Just this year I've developed some grey hair at a pretty quick rate.

On a somewhat similar line. I've been swimming so much that my pubic hair is turning blond! I normally have brown hair.

Which is more scary?!
