He’s actually a fucking SWEETHEART! When it comes to being a chef, you don’t have a lot of time to mince words bc at the end of the day, you can kill someone’s playing with their food. So maybe he isn’t gentle but he’s definitely not mean. I used to work with him (our head chef at a restaurant I worked at was under apprenticeship with him) and Gordon worked with him and us for a month or so. It was an experience like no other! Learned so much from him! And he took so much time to get to know every single person.
