bblumbee: Many people have problems with standarized testing. I concur with many of the sentiments, however, I have been very fortunate to test well.
I took the SAT in the seventh grade to be part of a program for gifted children at Duke University. I was accepted in the program and never took the test again until the middle part of my soph. year. Once I received those scores, I never took it again. It was more than enough to get me into the schools I applied for admission.
The GRE, however, was another beast. I was terrified of it! I thought about studying for it, but decided against it. My thoughts were... either I know it or I don't. Thank God I test well!!! I scored over 1,300 on it.
I have also taken the LSAT and did well enough on it to gain acceptance into Law School. I completed one year and unfortunately decided to end the program.
But, to answer your question... GRE does equal MONSTER!
