Great changes!

I guess most of you have never run a message board before. I cannot begin to describe how much I hate vBulletin. The code is just awful. I spend days hacking out faster modules for it when I was running it on my site. Also, something needs to be done about avatars, pronto. I didn't realize how many people had uploaded gigantic images for their avatars that were getting resized by the forum's HTML code instead of by PHP image functions to actually resize the images to make them take up less space (thus loading faster and saving bandwidth) and provide for a smoother transition to a new forum system.

Yeah, this new site design seems sweet. but i miss all the avatars, even though i still have not perefected visibility yet and have no avatar myself. Why the change, though, is what i wonder?

There were many, many problems with the old board, and Invision (the folks who designed it) could hardly provide support.

Does anyone else feel like the new board is weird? It just feels so different. I'm not sure if I like it yet :(.

I feel like one of those flood victims who was dislocated from Louisiana and plopped in some town in Iowa .

I'm gonna really have to get use to the new lay out and lack of simillies ( what ever will I do without my "devilish grin slimily"  :p ).

Yeah there is the problem with Avatars, and also quotes. I'm not sure if it's the old quotes from the posts made at Invision, which musn't match the code of here, or if its the quotes made here as well...

Anyway...nice to be here.

Ta-da! It's just the 'old' quotes. Vbulletin didn't convert them correctly when importing them.
