I'm loving the show, episode 5 was fantastic ^^

Now see this I think would work. The problem is more than it is not long enough for character development. Some of those characters just have to go I don't care if it is 2 hours an episode nothing would make me find most of them interesting. It isn't about looks, they are just boring actors imo. The best friend who moved to Oakland and is obsessed with the Escort? Boring. Gotta go.

The waiter who wants to open his own shop? Boring, I would say dump him for a better actor but MAYBE they can draw something interesting from that storyline but I doubt it.

The only ones I think should stay are Jonathan Groff, Russel Toveys character and the latin guy Groff started dating. The rest can go.

He must be boring, I can't even remember this storyline in the show or think of which character he is lol
Don't agree with you on the waiter though, he's pretty hot and my main reason for watching.

omg i didnt know there's already a thread set for this show. I love it! I like it that its just light and feel-good. It doesn't give too much about the socially relevant gay issues that's already sickening sometimes. Its funny plus I love that its in SF. Just a laid-back feel in it.

Dom(Murray) is such a hottie. He was fcking hot in sex and the city and he's really aging wel. So hot still!

Pat(JGroff) is such a handsome guy. I love his character. But I absolutely dont like his mexican bf. Pat's too hot for that guy. Pat deserves a hot one too. I mean the guy's(Richie) like a 2. Just saying. lol

I like how the story progress, I hope Patrick and Kevin will have time together and cut that mexican guy off the show already.

Dom is barely in the show so far, so how can you say that? It's too bad because he is the show's only hot guy, the mexican boyfriend guy is so-so. I find the main character totally boring so I found this week's episode a snore. And the "surprise twist"(SPOILER: the macho mexican turns out to be vers) at the end? Please, so predictable

I think this show isn't the best, but man these guys are attractive! I love that they look like regular men. They aren't the super toned and tanned twinks or the big muscle men. It is refreshing to see men that look like regular men in a gay TV show.

Does anyone watch that HBO series "Looking"? I've only watched the first episode and it seems cool, but is there any truth to it?

I just discovered and watched the entire 7 episodes between yesterday and today. The show is really so-so. I came across a brief review of the show and the real problem with the show is that each episode truly lacks a plot. So it can be fun to watch at times, but there really is nothing pulling the characters along and nothing really to keep your interest.

With that said, I like most of the characters, Pat, Dom, Kevin, but Agustin is ridiculously annoying and I don't want to see him on screen. I'm glad it was picked up for a second season and hope that the writing improves.

I disagree that the show's length has anything to do with the character development - many great HBO shows are only 1/2 hr and that was never a complaint.

I'd missed some of "Looking" and thought, "Great! Groff and Tovey." Then I saw it was with a women. Oh, damn! I know he's a fictional character, but I have to give it to Patrick for being able to have sex with a woman. I'm so gay that the only way I could have sex with a woman was if a picture of a nude man was taped to the headboard.
On this subject, I remember a scene from the American "Queer As Folk." Emmett was trying to go straight. He was in a group to promote that. He and a lesbian were sort of manipulated into having sex. When it was over, he said, "That wasn't nearly as disgusting as I thought it would be."
