It’s not about that. They fired him because he’s apparently a pain to work with. They didn’t fire him to do recast with a black actor, they fired him and then decided to change direction.
His best chance at continuing and Superman has always been the Snyderverse but he doesn’t seem committed to it at all
I don’t think any specifics have been fully revealed but it’s just been said that’s he’s ‘difficult’.
He was the only one who didn’t tweet/post about #ReleaseTheSnyderCut when there was a big push. He turned down the cameo at the end of Shazam. And there was big contract issues a couple years ago.
EDIT: No one is saying he’s a bad or toxic person or anything like that. Just that’s he’s not the easiest person to work with. I do like Cavill, this isn’t me trying to make him look bad. Just saying that WB’a decision wasn’t trying to be ‘woke’. Although I do have issues with what their alleged plans are.

Where there's smoke there's fire i will say.Many of us have heard those rumours..He is a god to look at and he is good at being Superman but he is mediocre at best in general.
All that's known, per reports, is that a Superman reboot is in-the-works at Warner Bros., written by Ta-Nehisi Coates and produced by J.J. Abrams, which, according to sources, is being set up as a Black Superman story.
As of February 2021, the project is "is very early into the development process with no start or release date targeted."
Really "inappropriate " behavior for statting that it's kinda sad that black actors can not get new roles written specifically for them, but have to play other roles
Who has said he's difficult to work with? Show receipts cuz then these are just made up rumors. As for him not tweeting #ReleaseTheSnyderCut ... yeah, that was weird, but he was the only one that actually appeared with Zack on video announcing the release of the movie.
Anywho, I will be watching the Snyder Cut later today, I can't wait!

I wasn’t coming for Henry. Someone said that he was fired because WB is trying to be woke and I gave them the reported reason. Scoopers (trustworthy scoopers) have been reporting how difficult Henry has been for a long time. Why do you think there hasn’t been a Man of Steel 2?
