Yeah I think a huuge part of the audience is the middle aged women, girls and gays not giving a fuck about the story just henry and his body lol…and I’m saying this as someone who actually spent like 200+ hours on the witcher 3 game and have read the books and loves the show itself…but to be honest my interest still decreased a bit despite these things

No. He did a full on sex scene in the Tudors and was basically semi naked the entire time in Immortals. That's nonsense. Lol

I think his ego and status as an actor is growing so now he thinks he's above gratuitous nudity and shirtless scenes. Smh

Well back then he probably didnt have the power to refuse, but then I dont know if actors always have the option of saying no to nudity or a sex scene or whatever. My guess is now he is able to refuse and maybe his insecurities about his body have worsened. I can only guess because I don't know for sure.

Honestly I can relate so much, I've been overweighted kid and was bullied lot at school. I remember when I was going to the river for swimming I didn't took my t shirt off bc ppl were bullying me that I had tits. Nowadays I look totally fine and athletic, but I still have issue with getting naked and feeling insecure. Even at the gym I always try to change clothes separated, behind something lol
Based on Henry's interviews he went through the same stages so won't be surprised if he feels same.

Also sex scenes probably was avoided bc of covid as well. We don't need to forget show was made in the middle of pandemic and shooting was stopped 2 times. Even some crew members passed away.

Finished, nothing happened. 1,2 and 8 was fine, first episode was still the best ,guess that was a reason why they showed it to everyone. For me Cavill didn't really have enough screen time

P.S. absolutely 0 sex scenes even with clothes, every article was a lie, which said ''there is a sex scene with Triss''.

Darn. Is it possible the “plenty of man flesh” was removed at the last minute? Or the critics got to see something we didn’t?

I found an article about Henry Cavill being injured on set during production of season 2. That might be why he didn’t get enough screen time.
