I don't know if it's just me, but whenever I start browsing the tech section of Amazon or eBay, and I come across the hidden cameras, I get very uneasy. I'm not usually a paranoid person, but this is practical stuff.

It's so easy and so cheap to buy small cameras.

THIS one looks like a phone charger plug...that you can actually plug your phone into!

THIS
one looks like a screw!

THIS one is a hook you can put anywhere.

I am not aware of any time I have been recorded with another person without my knowledge, but I guess that's kinda the point. It just creeps me out because you used to be able to tell when the computer or webcam was on or if someone had an actual video camera. I worry for younger women too. Like I said, this stuff is affordable and a lot of younger people are tech savvy.

This is also a valid concern for men as well.

Has anyone thought of this or is concerned by it?

Just two years ago they arrested a perv for installing a hidden camera in the women's locker room at my gym. It made me angry but didn't shake me up because I don't use the locker room for that very reason. I do remember the camera was very nondescript and didn't look like a camera at all.

Not long after that my project manager came into my office after a potential client left. He asked me why do I think that guy had a hidden camera pen in his pocket. I asked what? He said that he had seen these spy pens at Brookstone or some such store. He meant to say something to me before we had our meeting, but I rushed him in.

There was not a lot discussed aside from his project, so I have no idea why he would want to record our meeting. I did not win the job, and I never had dealings with him again. But should the occasion arise in the future, and I notice something like that I'm sure I would broach the subject.

In 1969 a camera broadcast the landing on the moon.

Way before the internet. Yet, how often do you use Velcro? :) (one of the small inventions of NASA)

Intelligence agencies were around years...way, way, way, before the internet. Do you really think they missed the boat? But hey......you have a President that grabs a Pussy and recorded....and it's fact. So, what do we do from there?

Apparently, it does not matter. You can be elected president if you are recorded you grab pussy.

Yet................I'm thinking if Don had been recorded grabbing Cock....the outcome would have been different.

No?

I'm not real comfortable with this....but if you live in a western nation there is a good chance your recorded a lot more than you think

The city has survalence cameras....most businesses have them....hospitals....public buildings

Low end customer service jobs are frequently targets of hidden camera secret shoppers

I have noticed security cameras in the houses of my richer friends

Some countries require dash can to stop insurance fraud

I even installed hidden camera to see who kept sterling shit out my car..(turned out it was a brother in law)

I can also see people wanting to record busness meeting....he who has the video has power

Plus ...me too has caused a bit of paranoia in common man...(somehow they think that the downfall of a filthy rich serial repeat offender like wienstien will lead to false accusation of them....kind wierd but....hey)....Mike pence wont even be alone with a female.....so the idea that someone would record meeting is not a shock

I also have a friend who records all his life....cause he's a wierdo and its his strange art project

Also know a pro athelete who records all his sexual encounters cause he fears rape charge

Also ever had a dispute and say ....man i wish I had that on camera....well now the tech is available

So, why is it that most cams that you need to pay for are women? I have never paid for a cam. Never will. You finish off with.....................

" This is also a valid concern for men as well" .

My suggestion is that you bugger off.

And why should they hide cameras when every phone has a camera?

Some of the very first pictures on mobile phones i received were from my love.

She just had her Vagina pierced, nipple....My nipple...blah, blah.

Yet, who cares? Did I grab her Pussy............Yup. Did she suck my cock...............Yup.

I still hi....................oaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh whatever.....She still squirts :) :)

People react differently when they know they are being filmed....think candid camera ...reality tv....or pumped

My friend who videos his life...he is looking for a organic reaction to everyday encounters

However to the pro athelete I know informs people they are being videoed in every corner of house...he says this soon entering

Another reason for hidden camera....people are shady fucks

It comes to this.

Ok. I have heard every religion tell it's story, history.

I have lived long enough to have visited a Library..

My Mum and Dad taught me right from wrong.

It seems to me, what my Mum and Dad taught me when growing up with all my sisters< Brother, Friends in my neighbourhood.....was that..................you never know, I, will never know.

I've read each of the posts in this thread, and not a single one of yours made any sense in the context of the topic. Your posts are just word salads.

When I worked at the 24/hr diner and I was on the graveyard shift we had this guy who would come in and take pics of women with a camera pen. For all I know he took some of me. None were of unclothed women though, that we came to know of.

Last I heard the piece of shit got arrested for some offense... Who wants to bet it was a sex offense?

Great post. I admit it makes me really uncomfortable too because, as I have learned here, there is no shortage of creeps around who would feel no way about recording you without your knowledge.

Reason #25979462132554864 I wouldn't do hook-ups. Doesn't eliminate the risk, but hopefully minimises it

No one is discussing sex cam shows.

If you don't think some men will record their sexual encounters with other men without their consent, you're delusional.

Just ask the family of Tyler Clementi.

I can't say I'm too worried about cameras out and about. I'm more concerned with private acts like dressing rooms, locker rooms, sexual encounters.

I can understand your friend's fear of a rape charge. That's a tricky situation. I'm sure he checked the laws in his area because it is illegal here at least.

There are a fuck ton of "locker room" etc hidden camera video clips posted on here. Some seem very staged, but not all of them. People are creepy fucked up pieces of shit. Even more reasons to use the fitness center at my apartment complex, so I can change and shower at home. Even more reasons to not use public bathrooms. Bleh.
