I'm not a paranoid, conspiracy theory type of guy, but I'm getting paranoid when it comes to cameras and tech shit.

With facial recognition, the coming cashless society, your entire internet history being recorded.. Idk.. 'They' will be able to track your every move, every purchase.. Your internet history is damn near the same thing as searching your thoughts... Freaks me out.

Probably not, but if it were not for NASA and their multi million dollar investments into shrinkage of camera technology to broadcast to the world the achievements of landing on the moon..etc. It was a huge feat of the time to be able to come up with cameras and technology small enough to be placed on a spacecraft.

Then, slowly from this point they were , shrunk, and shrunk, and shrunk again to fit into our phones to the point of being itty bitty hidden devices. Probably again off tangent...where the movie..Honey I Shrunk The KIds...came from

I know it's off tangent, but a little bit of history never hurt a thread . Or where our modern tech comes from to allow this discussion. US knowhow at it's best.

Everything in life has its Pros and Cons. I've been looking/shopping for outside light bulbs with cams built in to catch the F'ers who are breaking into my neighbors cars. Only cars on the block being broken into and they're not even the nicest vehicles on our street. Newest neighbor moved in less then 6 months ago and has been broken into twice so far. I just wanna catch the F'ers who are doing this. My guess are the transients passing thru or lazy ass teenagers!
Sister inlaw worked at a tile/flooring shop which some mofo put in a hidden cam in the ladies room for employees. She stumbled across it and the guy got a slap on the wrist. Nothing more. So she quit her job! One she truly loved plus got hella deals on flooring supplies.
We? Those in my age bracket use to laugh or joke around about Big Brother but? Now it seems like Big Brother is one of the biggest pervs around and will put a cam anywhere he can to bust a nut.

Seen plenty of hidden cams links/videos and it makes You wonder? How many or much of this shit is staged and if not? How many ass kickings have followed. I mean really! I don't care who you are or how good looking or ugly a person is or what they're doing on said hidden cam. I for damn sure don't want my business posted on the net for the world to see and without my consent!?!?! Fuck that!

Yes I did, but once upon a time there were no cameras at intersections controlled by traffic lights, factories, offices, nor were people able to place cameras on their rear vision mirrors of their vehicles, bicycle helmets. There are cameras everywhere, in just about every part of public space.....I am even careful when visiting the loo in a nightclub ...I have refused clients requests when building rental properties to install cameras.

There are many excuses used as to the reason why, terrorism, insurance 3rd party, security etc. It is the reason why I posted the Metropolis picture........because predictions of the past have come to be true in the future.

The public as a whole are no longer trusted.

It's just not possible, or near impossible to escape being viewed by, hidden or not, a camera because they have become so much a part of modern society. This is how facial recognition works. This is what secret organisations are working toward...all in the name of public and national security.

I wish it could be stopped, but it started from the first invention and the beginnings of miniaturization many years ago.

And yes, I do take at times privilege with posts on public forums. If not anything I am a little bit of a non conformist. I hope at times what I introduce brings a reason why we have found ourselves where we are now because we all have let it become this way. I can't help my tangent way of thought. It's who I am. By the by, I only visit here now maybe once a week..........perhaps that is a good thing for many of the conformists.

It's why in the end I'm not afraid to, now and then show my face here, or anywhere, to be myself. Because in the end, I am not doing any wrong except enjoying what humans have done for 1000's of years, and millions who post everyday.

It just creeps me out because you used to be able to tell when the computer or webcam was on or if someone had an actual video camera. I worry for younger women too. I answered probably 90% of paintergals post when it comes to camera miniaturization through camera evolvement whether you are being recorded or not without your knowledge.

The other 10% is up to personal discretion and intuition. Something I can't answer.

Which began in the sixties. There is no guarantee on this planet that you will not be recorded if you either turn on your personal cam, from a security camera, a traffic camera, a police camera or any other camera, it is being recorded.

How do you think the cheap reality shows are now so prevalent on TV or social media? Because of public or private cameras.

The thing I have tried to stress, is ok, in recent times these small or hidden cams have become an issue.

What the larger picture says, is that government organisations have been way on the ball since their invention since the late 60's, it was their...your money which helped develop this technology.

So, they have been secretly watching us, through " Hidden Cameras" for years, way before any other cam invention.

The nearest government camera to me is over two miles away. I know exactly where it is, because not only can I clearly see it, but it is public property. It isn't a secret. Ways to manipulate cameras and mics on electronic devices are also well known to most, and not too difficult to circumvent. It is also irrelevant to the idea of a trusted person in a private setting recording intimate moments with a screw, a lightbulb, a plug that is secretly a camera.
