Photos & Videos Hook (aew)

The article literally says she found nothing on his phone to do with his co-star lol

Considering she and her family all still follow him on social media this looks more like trying to make it seem a bigger break up than it actually was so she has something interesting happen on the reality show she’s a part of. I mean getting paranoid because he’s going to dinner with a co star while they’re filming triggers her makes her look a tad over paranoid.
In the video she says she found other things. What if it’s not a woman? *wishful thinking*

It’s just Tony’s typical inability to book anyone in a faction when their leader is out injured or in Joe’s case filming. Joe is literally due back any day now so I imagine he’ll be back on Dynamite/Collision soon enough.

It’s obvious he’s wanted to work more this year due to taking indy bookings, working dark matches before Dynamite every week and now ROH so this is likely just Tony accommodating that. If ROH was a permanent thing I’ve no doubt he’d be in one of the title matches at the ROH PPV tonight, especially since it’s in 2300 arena.

If his indy run has shown anything it’s that Tony and his match producers are way out of touch with how to present him. He goes to GCW and HOG and comes across as a star.

It's unbelievable how his career went downhill this year; he's just a second fiddle to a jobber , a mid-carder on the B-show.

Yep and a few on this board were all over me when I noticed this a while back. The elephant in the room is that he's not that great. He's absurdly good looking but the in ring stuff and promo work hasn't evolved much. He had that mystique and irony during his ascent but once it came time to ring the bell, it was a few suplexes and punches. And the promos have been meh on a good day. Add to that AEW's limitations, putting him in weird new random tag scenarios every 6 months, his health issues, then turning him heel, and now here he is in high school gyms getting cheap pops because he's the guy from TV.

If WWE saw something there, I'm sure they could have easily snatched him up. They apparently don't.

Would I still bend him over and have fun? Absolutely.

He’s better off today than he was a few years ago, only appearing once a month to squash someone on collision.

He need reps. He needs to try new things and occasionally fail. That’s how you learn. He’s a victim of his own success that his debut went so well. It’s been almost five years since his debut and he has never changed his gimmick or his look in any meaningful way. He is still doing most of the spots he did in his debut.

His failure is not that he is wrestling in the indies today. His failure was not making that move years ago.

Hook was involved in the ROH Show at the 2300 Arena and they did a nod to a part of his father's rivalry with Sabu. Lio Rush was defending the ROH TV Title against Action Andretti and Lio Rush was wearing pants similar to what Sabu wore. During the match the lights went out and when they came back on, Hook was standing in the ring with his arms crossed like his father. He was wearing pants and a wifebeater. Then he suplexed Lio Rush and eventually helped Action Andretti win the match.
