Hot/affirming language for FTM anatomy?

Hi all! I'm a smut writer, but have previously only written cis male characters in sexual situations. Recently I've been exploring more of my pan side (I've been basically exclusively cis gay for a long time, but have known now that I'm pan for 5+ years) through porn, and now I'm interested in maybe writing about some other genders/genitals.

Basically I'd like to write a story from the perspective of a cishet man who discovers that he's into men as well because he accidentally walks in on another dad in the bathroom and sees his vulva. Other dad proceeds to tease and toy with him over his unnecessary shame, lots of power dynamics and sexy times ensue.

However... my vocab when it comes to sex stuff for vulvas is super shallow. Mostly I just know the anatomical words and a bunch of extremely questionable words that cishet men tend to use a lot when treating people with less respect than they deserve (pussy, for instance), so I have absolutely no idea how appropriate they are for respectful/thoughtful smut writing.

Could I get some opinions on word choices to use for describing different parts in different ways that are both sexy to read and not completely inappropriate socially? Alternate words with connotations (this word is more raunchy, this one is more romantic, etc.) would be absolutely amazing.

Another thing I would love to know specifically is what words are or are not affirming as far as crossovers with phallic descriptions. OK to call clitoral penises "cocks," and such, for instance? Does the clitoral hood ever get called a foreskin? Can you refer to both the penis and vagina in the same breath without it feeling out of place? Can you refer to the inner clitoral arousal as an erection or boner (even if sort of tongue-in-cheek)?

(Apologies for any inadvertent ignorance. I'm always trying to learn, so let me know if any of my language/ideas need adjusting.)

Unfortunately, FTM guys are snowflakes on this...some are totally fine with the vernacular of their original plumbing, and for others, new names are required. I'm the former...just fine with clit and pussy, etc. If you enjoy FTM smut, I wrote a little piece. Enjoy!

Other than some differences in vein/arteries and the location of the urethra, the clit has very similar erectile tissue. From a developmental biology perspective, they come from the same tissue and only later become differentiated between normal male and female anatomy. So FTMs do get boners. Only about 10% of the clit is visible, the remaining 4x2 inches or is internal. FTMs on testosterone normally have clits that are about 1.5 to 2 inches longer than before they started hormones....but size variation is WIDE, just like cis dudes. The external bit is called a Glans, just like the glans of a cock. FTMs don't get blue balls obviously, but the clit does have a dull ache if it's hard for too long.

I'm not sure that you mean by "internal" clitoral arousal. Are you referring to the G-spot? That's internal, but not clitoral in origin.

I was referencing the erectile tissue, yep! That part being under the skin and sometimes invisible even if the glans is aroused is why I said internal arousal. Now that I'm thinking about it, though, I realize the internal would never be erect separately from the glans anyway, so your confusion makes total sense, haha.

Quick update for anyone stumbling onto this thread: the story is shaping up really well, and the link above is my editing copy, so it's live updating as I write. I'll probably make a thread for it in the erotic stories section soon, and likely self-publish it as a trashy romance novel once it's done.
