It's great you're interested in this. While it may be a kink for some, for others not. I think there's a range of reasons gay men are turned on by straight porn. For me it was impossible to find gay porn growing up in the 80s in a rural area. My local video stores had straight porn, albeit edited down to "r" rating not "x" so no erect penises or penetration shown. I'd have chopped off my arm to see the guys hard, but at the time it wasn't to be. It was still fun and a turn on to see the straight men's facial expressions and their nudity when soft. I quickly learned to focus entirely on the men, tuning out the women from a sexual perspective. I also fantasised about the men getting off together. I enjoyed scenes with two men fucking a woman, but imagined they were fucking each other. Sometimes I'd imagine I was the one being fucked, not because I wanted to be a woman, but because I wanted to be with the guy. Today, I generally prefer gay porn but straight porn still turns me on if I think the specific guy/guys are hot. If I can read any implied homoeroticism in the scene e.g. with more than one man, even better. Again I think this stems from having to fill in the blanks with my imagination during my teens and twenties until the internet made porn more accessible. In reference to your comment about how vice versa you wouldn't be turned on. I presume you mean that porn with only men and no women wouldn't work for you, you'd need the woman there. For me and probably many others, it's the opposite. I can tune out the woman in the straight porn but two women having sex in straight or bi scenes does nothing for me. I'm not repulsed by women in any way, I respect women and think they are beautiful, but I'm just not turned on by their bodies or expression of gender. May as well be two plants rubbing against each other, it's just not sexual for me. I don't speak for all queers, but certainly I'm not alone.
