Exactly what the title says. I'm less interested in the standard "masturbate beforehand" or "distract yourself mentally" tips and more interested in hearing from guys who feel like they have more muscular control of their pelvic floor etc to keep yourself from going over the edge. What do you do? Try to relax your muscles? Try to squeeze them?

You are on the right path. Kegels and reverse kegels when mastered are your best friend.

I could be on the verge of ejaculation and using reverse kegels will myself flaccid.

I can control my cum to happen only when I want it to or just let myself go whenever my body wants to.

I've found a great way to increase stamina when I'm at the edge is to have a camera with the intent of making some sexy pics or videos. Inevitably there will be an issue with the angle or the lighting or the focus - and if you spend enough time trying to fix it you'll be right back to flaccid again!

(Seriously though - if I'm too close to the edge I almost always just need to back off on the stimulation for a bit, briefly slowing or stopping my stroking / thrusting and not resuming until I feel I'm back from the edge a bit. It definitely takes self-control to stop the movements that would otherwise lead to an orgasm!)

You can check out some tantric sex techniques, a lot of them are mental while others rely on the physical execution.

Kegel exercises are good for having a great lasting erection but you need to mentally block or accept and embrace pleasure possitively, without fearing going too soon or without the actual feeling of an orgasm and shooting too soon. It's a lot like mindfulness meditation.

A combination of Tantra and kegel can be pretty damn fine as Tantra helps with lasting longer and kegel with consistency of erection. You don't want to last much longer but with a limp dick, and not the other opposite example either, lasting seconds because you're too horny and hard as diamonds.

Kegel exercises have helped me with controlling my orgasm. For me it was after about 3 - 4 months of daily exercises where I saw significant changes. There are many references on the internet for the routines that you can perform.

Also, one thing to keep in mind. Is to put everything into the proper perspective. Premature ejaculation is when you release after a minute or so. And there are alot of guy who consuming quite a bit of porn where the scenes are 15 to 20 minutes long and they think this is normal. And it's not the reality of sex in real life. Case in point, my partner and I were with another couple. A young couple probably in their mid 20s. And they were noobs. So my partner finished off the guy finished off in 5 minutes or so. Which he thought was too fast.

And we explained to him, that it was normal. Because he went from start to finish without taking a break. Also my partner, she's physically attractive and skilled in sex, so guys will typically cum around 5 minutes give or take a few minutes.

So keep your expectations realistic about how long you should last.
