How would you feel if your son or daughter became a porno star?

Whenever I watch porno always in the back of my mind wonder what their mother's would think if they saw their son or daughter having piggy sex for the world to see.

If I had a son I think I'd be very disappointed and use every means possible to get him out of the business. It's hypocritical since I do watch porno but there's something viserally icky when it's a family member who is on the screen getting fucked.

How would you feel about having your adult kid in the sex business?

I think much of my concern would stem from STDs and then I'd wonder if I raised my kid right. If I thought they were mentally stable and viewed it as just an acting job and the risk of STDs was minimal, then I might be OK with it. I wouldn't ever want to see it, but just maybe I could deal with it. There was one guy I saw on X-tube doing a solo who I swore was a cousin of mine and that killed my boner immediately as my eyes popped out of my head. Scared the crap out of me! Another video by the same guy confirmed he wasn't my cousin at all, but for a few minutes there I thought, 'Oh my God.'

I have to say deep down I'm pretty sexist about this. I'd much less worry about a boy than a girl. I don't know why I feel this way and it bothers me.

I have a cousin who is a huge gay porno star in Argentina. Actually we're 2nd cousins. We've only met a handful of times due to the distance and he's about 15 years younger than me. I was pretty much blown out of the water when I ran across one of his movies online. I had no idea. (And no, I didn't watch it) I did send him an email, though, and said "Hey...guess what!?" He's supposed to come to the States sometime in the next year for a personal appearance tour and we're planning to meet somewhere. There can be no right or wrong reply here. All attempts to be open minded and liberal, fall to no avail. I think it has something to do with an innate guilt in seeking pleasure in pornography. There may be no way around conflict did feelings about this subject.

Personally, at my age and sexual orientation, I am highly not likely to have a kid in the porn perfection. I do not believe I would be comfortable with a porn star offspring no matter what gender or sexual orientation.

I think it would be more weird and awkward than anything else. Fortunately, I have been sparred seeing a relative in a porno movie.

I also feel that seeing a daughter in porn would bother me more than seeing a son. There is a double standard in that women who fool around and are sexually promiscuous are somehow soiled of their dignity while with boys it's just sowing seeds - an almost positive thing. I've been brainwashed to think this way.

I wouldn't find it icky to see a family member being fucked. I'd simply be surprised by this as most of them are religious conservatives. And it would be hypocritical for one who views porn to object to his progeny being porn stars. I view your above "adult kid" as a contradiction of terms. My son/ daughter as an adult would be free to do as they wish - including work in the sex business. They may not do as well as Abram and Sarai did, but I would hope that they prosper in their chosen profession.
