I recently heard an interview of Margaret Whiting on NPR's Fresh Air. First time I knew he was married. She discussed his career and how he "had" to make gay porn. Probably an old interview that was replayed on the occasion of his death. Fresh Air does that a lot as things become topical again. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It's an intresting situation. He originally considered himself gay and obviously enjoyed gay sex, but had sex with women and eventually fell in love with his wife. It's a great testament to how none of us are truly totally gay or totally straight.

I met him once, when I was about 18 or 19, he was friends with my uncle. He was introduced to me as a director. But I knew instantly who he was. My horny 12/13 yo self would walk by all the porno theaters on 42nd and mag stands that sold porn and you could not do that WITHOUT seeing his handsome face and hot bod that was still everywhere. No, Jack died of emphysema, he and Margaret died fairly close to each other, but they were living apart and being cared for separately.

I'm confused by this man's sexuality. Why did he even get into straight porn if he was gay? If he didn't like relationships with men why not stay single.
Sounds like many bisexuals who don't admit it to themselves and therefore lie to others.
