Actually James Garner starred with Doris Day in two films. One was "The Thrill of it All" where Doris was guess what, a house wife and mother who had to choose between a career in comercials and being a devoted wife to James Garner. She was also in Move Over Darling which is a remake of the Cary Grant and Irene Dunn film, "My Favorite Wife"

This is why I'm not more successful in life because my brain is full of this useless shit.

I met James! he is not at all like the on screen persona, and totally lost his cool with his harboring that DB Sweeney is gay! He couldn't get over that and yet he made the movie "Victor, Victoria". I guess its just a job and he willing to do whatever to get paid. There is nothing manly about a whiner on being homophobic. DB Sweeney is a cool dude! Nothing I can say bad about him. James burst my bubble of being his fan from Rockford file.

What brought this on was DB Sweeney had more women swooning over him for an autograph and James had a little hissy fit. And shot DB down with his gay remark, bad mouthing him behind his back!
