One thing I have recently come to discover on this site is the fact there are alot of Jimmy Savilles on here and its truly frightening how they dont even try to mask what their into its almost asif there proud of being able to relish in it on the site. Romeo Beckham now has a page, yes he's 18 but the comments are absolutely abhorrent discussing how they have wanted him for years and such and the site does nothing about it...

Back to James Moore though. The crime he was charged with includes the phrase "being in possession of". So he quite clearly broke the law and even admitted it in his instagram story when he said he was sent indecent videos.

A minor in the UK is all those who have not attained the age of 18. Any age but 18+ is what this could be talking about.

In the UK, images between 16-18 aren't always prosecuted unless there are aggravating factors. That makes me think it's probably true that he was sent pictures from someone who he thought looked over 18, and then he aggravated the situation by sharing them.
Again though you haven't read it and taken it in as a whole, you're picking bits out that you take issue with. I'm not defending him "per say". I work in HR and I've seen plenty of people accused in similar circumstances and i have seen the impact first hand when online and social whips up a storm only for the individual to later be found through actual investigation of the facts to be innocent. By your logic somebody could send you images containing sexual acts with a minor and you become a nonse. Are they not within your possession? I've seen this very thing be done maliciously by an individual who was later charged - but it did not stop the accusation from ruining the accused life who was entirely innocent.
I am not saying he is or is not anything. None of us know enough yet. Simple.
I would advocate that it is entirely irresponsible of the press and boards like this to report on this before relevant authorities have done their work. And I'll take no argument on public interest as relevant bodies and individuals would manage any risks while the work is being done.
