Javier Bardem

I think he gave the best speech of the night. I am definitely looking forward to seeing No Country... now.

I feel exactly the same way.
I think he has phenominal charisma, and he's completely himself.
Not good-looking in a conventional way, but someone you have to look at.
And a phenomenal actor.
I saw Before Night Falls, and he was great.
The few clips that have been shown tonight from No Country For Old Men, suggest a much better performance, one that will be referenced a lot.
I always have the feeling he's really unusually perceptive from moment to moment.
There's nothing that I can point to ... just an overall impression that I get every second I see him on a screen.
I think he's going to be considered a very great actor.

He did seem to have a great charisma and exuded confidence. He was the calmest by far of any recipient I saw and he was effective, witty, and to the point with his acceptance.

Tilda Swinton had a good speech too. Her razzing of George Clooney was hilarious.

Yes, I've been a great fan of Javier Bardem for so many years, it's sad! I still hope and pray that he'll do a Ricky Martin and say he's gay... oh to have a go on him lol! As for his nudity, just check out the majority of his films, especially the earlier Spanish ones, he's not shy and you'll not be disapointed! ;-)

Lucky Penelpoe Cruz. She & Javier Bardem have been together for quite awhile now,We are neighbors when they are in NYC.They have a great dog

For me, Javier Bardem is a paragon of masculine beauty; he's so my type it's nearly painful.
Oh, I soooooooooo know what you mean!!!!
I think he was one of the first celebreties I fantasised about!
he is a muffin!!!

Javier's just such a MAN, you know? I love his thick neck and his squashed nose. He's an amazing actor -- there's a scene in Second Skin that I can watch over and over, the emotions he portrays with very little change of his expression.

I'm so jealous of Penelope Cruz that I could pee.

I am impressed, are you sure?, you really don't mind?Well thank you mate.

btw, i am actually starting to believe this hehe:redface:

Not in the least: you going first saves me a lot of the preliminaries in opening him up :biggrin1:
