I agree, old school jocks are the best. In my opinion a jockstrap is a masculine garment that provides support to your balls during athletic activity. Fashion jocks are nothing more than assless underwear that advertises you want someone to take care of your ass (one way or another).

Yup. Plus, I'm not into ass stuff at all, so I'm always a little disappointed when jockstrap pics emphasize the ass, which they often seem to. I'm much more interested in the bulge.

Yeah, and as I said, it's the bulge that I focus on. I don't really get the ass thing.
