I just have one question that is still very unclear, Why do so many people hate Justin Bieber? Is it just his music? what is the big deal?
I think a lot of it has to do with one's sense of cosmic fairness. Like so many other pop sensations, Justin, while he has boyish good looks and a "nice" voice, isn't especially talented. He was deemed "cute" by teenage girls who clicked on his YouTube videos, and then marketted like a box of cornflakes by recording executives. The same could pretty much be said of Brittany Spears, Hanna Montana, The Monkees, Back Street Boys, Menudo, etc.--just a product of modern pop music packaging. The distain for him comes from people just responding to the "unfairness" of the music marketplace, coupled with the insipid vacuousness of pop music in general. He's a famous multi-millionare but without having any exceptional talents or efforts which made his good fortunes so. You don't hear the same disdain about Justin Timberlake, at least now. Even though like Brittany he was a product of the Disney Factory, he's proven that he's an actual talent, not just a pretty face, although it took him a number of years to get beyond being thought of as 'N Sync's co-lead singer.
