Korean Spa

So which spa/sauna in NYC/NJ area is most fun and clean now? Plan to visit this Sunday 🤗
I haven't been at the Spa Club in Ktown for almost a year, during which it seems that the steam room was non functional. Will be heading there this week and i will report back here.
Historically, I have always had nice times there on all prior visits

The Spa Club is not very big but is very clean and feels relaxing. There's not a lot of people in the morning, but those that are there, are there to have fun. Definitely gets more crowded by the afternoon, but then there is a mix of both straights and gays.

New York Spa & Sauna is (to my opinion) semi-clean. The steam room and hot tubs area reminds me of those tile pool settings. 90% of the guys are there to have fun. Definitely a LOT of action in the steam room, especially in the afternoon to evening. It can go from 3 people to 16 people.

I never been but heard that Crystal Spa in NJ have a lot of action. You probably need to ask those who been how clean the spa is and how fun it is there. But as @al327 mentioned in post #4507, Island Spa in NJ is also fun and clean.

I've been to Crystal and it's basically a bathhouse. I wouldn't call it clean because guys leave their towels and trash all over and don't pick up after themselves. Also amenities are just meh since it's a steam room, a tub, a dark room and two coed clothed saunas. Guys tend to be older like 40+ but there is a mix of 30+ and all races.

Decided to hit a couple different spas in the Seattle area, since I'm here for a few weeks. Went to Q Spa in Lynnwood on Sunday and then decided to go to Paradise Spa in Federal Way last night.

Q Spa was great. Clean and well-maintained and quite busy for an early Sunday evening. I was there from about 5-8pm. Lots of men including a group of guys who were making it a "spa night" and giving each other face masks. Three pools - warm, hot, and cold - with the warm (the largest) in the center of the room and hot and cold at the back. Showers off to the left in an alcove and what I believe is the scrub area walled off in the back right. Steam and sauna were on the right side of the room.

Generally speaking, it was very relaxing and didn't feel cruisy at all, although there was great eye candy. Lots of men hanging around, soaking, sweating, and relaxing. And then I went into the steam room.

The steam room was full and was very active, yet there was no pressure to participate. It's not a huge steam room, but has double-level benches (which some men took advantage of to exercise their oral skills) and thick steam while not being uncomfortably hot. The dry sauna was much less used but a great temperature.

I was hoping for a body scrub but there weren't any appointments available.

Monday night I went to Paradise Spa 6pm Monday after my dinner plans fell through, in part because I really wanted a body scrub. It looks like the spa used to be nice but has fallen into disrepair. It was clean, but is now clearly well used with chipped and missing tiles and a general run-down feeling. There's a separate shower room with six stalls right as you enter the wet space (crooked stalls, missing mirrors, etc.). Then down the hall to scrub room on the left, and then three pools against the back wall, all similar sized - hot, warm & cold. Steam and dry sauna on the right wall with some sit down showers up against the front wall.

Steam room was huge, more than double the size of Q spa, but steam was not thick at all. It was not really used, several times I was the only one in the steam. The dry sauna was incredibly hot, so I only used it for a couple minutes.

Body scrub was great! One of the best that I've ever had. He took the time to scrub and I could feel the difference. It was also an incredible value, at $70 for scrub inclusive of spa fee. (Spa fee without scrub is $40.)

The biggest downside was that I was the only one naked. There were 5-7 other guys there at the same time as me. Most were wearing swimsuits with one other man who kept his large bath towel around his waist at all times. I didn't parade around, and used my spa towel as "shield" when moving between areas, but part of the enjoyment of the spa is relaxing naked with other naked men. Oh well.

I'd definitely go back to Q Spa but probably not Paradise unless I was going with friends.

Glad you enjoyed Q. It’s a pretty great and respectful place. Food is also great! Palace is just sad because it used to be great before it was bought out by a homophobic Russian family.

That's too bad about Palace. But explains the Cyrillic signs about. There were three guys speaking Russian hanging out when I arrived, in and out of pools. Never felt a homophonic vibe and I was sugar waxed last week and the guy cut my pubes way to short so I have a certain "look" fully undressed.

NYC..Going today to a spa - which one should I do , spa castle or New York Spa & Sauna? How do they compare?? Seems spa castle has nudity sections
What did you end up doing? Haven't been to Spa Castle since they reopened.

Can anyone give me a review of the Hacienda sauna in terms of types of guys/attractiveness
I’ve been there a handful of times. I’d say it’s more average dudes there, more Asian and Hispanic generally, but all body types and ethnicities I’ve seen. Could be hit or miss from an attractiveness standpoint.

I think the real draw there is the amount of play that goes on. Most of people who go either are there to play or are ok with it. I haven’t been there in months but that was my experience.

I’m mostly there to look, most info is jerkoff while in stream room when multiple people are doing the same. I generally like seeing the different sizes and showing mine off.

I’ve seen all types, from a skinny guy with a long 8 inches, average dudes and small dudes. Even an older dude come by with a huge thick hog.

Tha facilities are older, so it’s more the action at an affordable entry.

Can't wait for the report.
I went to Spa Club last Weds night. I can confirm the steam room is open. It was a good crowd, maybe 5-6 guys at any time in the wet area. check it out, and don't forget to buy the groupon or admission+service package for the discount.

I checked out Spa Castle a couple months ago. The wet area is up and running. Nudity optional but 90% of guys go nude. The coed wet area was open too, but inside only. That's where the noise tends to cluster, since it's near a bar area and families can hang out there.

The men's wet area is quiet even when there were some kids and dads there. Most of the jets worked as they should - can't win 'em all I guess!

I was there last week as well (not on Wednesday night) and I agree with the above. Though at some points the steam room was off for around 20 minutes. Similar to the schedule posted earlier. They turn it off every 2 hours for 20 minutes. The crowd was decent and playing in the steam room. No helicopter attendants. Left the place satisfied, like previous visits I had.

It’s a solid place in the city for relaxation and fun!
