I will second the comment above in that it's pretty clear that most of the time girth wins out over length. I also think that there's both physical and psychological aspects involved, but it's clear that women seem to enjoy the feeling of fullness, as it was once described to me. I didn't respond earlier because I wasn't sure I understood the question, and I wasn't sure the thread wasn't just fishing for JO material.

I don't personally have a size preference, but most of my friends prefer thicker. That's one perspective.
