Daniel Penny murdered a mentally ill man who wasn’t hurting anyone, who was yelling and screaming and begging for help because he was desperate and alone.
Daniel Penny decided to put him in a lethal choke hold, and held that hold for FAR longer than necessary, even after the people he was ‘protecting’ begged him to stop. Even after Jordan Neely soiled himself.
And a jury in America couldn’t determine fairly that a blonde, white man was guilty of murdering a homeless black man who had. Not DONE anything but be desperate and loud.
And Daniel Penny CHOSE to MURDER a man who had done nothing to deserve it. Because he knew he wouldn’t ever face justice in our legal system, weighted as it is (and has always been) against people with the same skin color as his victim.
He is blonde, white, and a free man. But he’s still a filthy murderer, and the whole world knows it, no matter what a bunch of morons and racists in the jury decided, or couldn’t decide.
But it’s cool. Your bias is noted.
