Photos & Videos Male Celebrities Naked (cont.)

The use of prosthetic penises in movies and television, in most instances, is a deceptive practice that should be discontinued. The reality of the matter is that the nude scenes that famous actors do often help to lure some people to see their movies, and most of those people expect to see the actors real body parts. Otherwise, they wouldn't understand the point of seeing fake ones.
No one should be expected to show everything, even if it is a movie or show that will have nudity. They use body doubles for that too, or are you against that practice as well? Taking White Lotus for example, in season 2, Theo James's character is supposed to be very well endowed, which Theo isn't. It's ignorant to think that the actor's penis size should be considered over their acting ability.

movies are illusion. it’s all fake but if you can’t make the fake feel or look real for the audience why bother. just don’t show their penis. because there is nothing sexy or shocking about a prosthetic. the scene fails to do what they intended

Exactly! Prosthetics are like bad CGI and bad special effects. They completely pull you out of the moment.

There have been enough good looking well respected actors that have done full frontal nudity that is should never be an issue. Certainly not by 2025.

If an actor doesn't want to do a nude scene that is required, then I'm sorry but they should cast somebody who will.

Or use a fucking body double like they’ve been using in Hollywood since day one. Anything is better than a dildo glued to your pubes lol. I mean he’ll the scene in pretty woman where she puts her ass through the car window. They used a double. And she wasn’t even nude in that scene.

Frankly, I seldom feel nudity's required. Movies got along just fine without it. Regardless of how John Wayne, Clark Gable or Paul Newman were actually hung, we knew they were studs. Didn't need to see their dicks. And if the director really really really feels the need for "artistic (read: voyeuristic) reasons" to show cock, just go with whatever the actor's got. . . unless, of course "It's required by the script" -- like "The Life of John Holmes" -- then find a porn star and get on with it, or, better still, just don't do the piece of crap at all.

I agree with you in regard to the awkwardness of casting an actor in a certain role based on his penis size rather than his acting ability. That is one situation in which I more than accept the idea of using a prosthetic penis. You cite Theo James in the current series "White Lotus" as an example of this, and I can add to the list Mark Wahlberg playing a porn star in "Boogie Nights" (1997.

Where I can't accept the idea of using a fake dick is in those movies in which the size of the character's dick has no significance to the plot and the decision to have the actor wear one is seemingly rooted in little more than a perceived need to help him maintain his modesty, while at the same time pretending to show something daring and controversial. Yes, I do think that the actor should be required to show everything if that is what is being claimed, and that is what some segment of the paying audience is expecting to see. It is a matter of prurient--rather than artistic--fulfillment, pure and simple.
