Somewhere around '92 or '93, I was in Vegas on business (no, seriously, I was working on a trade show there), and I saw that Manpower was on tour appearing at one of the casinos. Even though I knew I was sexually attracted to men, I was still definitely NOT out yet, but hell, I was out of town, in my own hotel room, and well over-the-age-- screw it, I'm gonna go see 'em! And I did! I was probably the only guy in the audience ( my seat-neighbor told me "You're very brave!", with a smile), and they put on an unforgettable show!
And yes, Esa Havela looked like he had a cantaloupe in his thong! That's not hyperbole, that's fact! I've never forgotten how packed that cotton pouch looked, and it's been thirty years!
