the first time i shaved/trimmed down there was last year...and i only did it once and it itched like hell after that....but ive been thinkin bout doin the whole thing...goin completely shaved cuz ive heard it feels awesome..plus the girls will like it better...they won't have to stop playin my skin flute to get somethin out of there mouth...haha...so last night i decided to clean it up some down there...and in a few weeks when basketball is over, im gonna shave it all off....im waitin cuz i think the guys on the team would wonder whats up when they saw me one day with a bush and the next day theres nothin!!

That's funny because most of my buddies are pretty open about shaving their balls.
Even the ones that don't, after hearing us talk and joke about it, try it out.

spoolworm: I totaly shave the shaft, but I leave a bit a little patch above. Neatly trimmed of course. I do thin it out a bit though, so giving head doesn't become a safari.

it seems like I'm the odd gal out on here! My guy thinks he's too hairy and always wants to shave but I love his natural body hair and I'm always trying to convince him not to! As long as it's not out of control (pubes neatly trimmed), I think a guy should definitely go natural. On the other hand, I've never been with a REALLY hairy guy...
I use a beard trimmer with a guard, but much more conservatively. I trim the hedges and the chest with a #3 or #4, shave a few strays on the shaft, and leave my legs alone. You wouldn't know I trimmed unless you'd seen me before: it really cuts down on the bush, but it doesn't look unnatural.
Mainly I do it as a courtesy to women who don't want a faceful of curlies.
I ask for women to do the same for the same reason: also because, at 6.5" around, long pubes can get sucked into the vortex and scratch up the sides of my penis. Yes, it's happened, and it's really unpleasant.
I saw a porn clip once where the guy was totally smooth except for a tiny patch above the cock. To me, this looks like a Hitler moustache, especially with an erection doing the Sieg Heil. You know when you start laughing at something that really shouldn't be funny, but thinking that just makes it worse? Especially when he got down to business...I was lucky the guy didn't have a German accent.
It looks strange on women too: I understand trimming down to a neat triangle, but the tiny "soul patch" just looks out of place. If you've gone that far you might as well shave it clean.

I've never had much body hair so the only shaving I do is my pubes, balls and shaft. I just like the feel of being smooth. I shave in the shower every day - just takes a minute and have never had any problem with ingrown hairs or redness. Guess I'm lucky. No comments in the lockerroom or showers from the guys except a few about my size. I've noticed a few other guys are now becoming smoothies.

I think it depends on your hair color (don't laugh)....my b/f has black hair and trims down to #1 and it's hot. I don't like the shaved look, just the sculpted. Now (i'm dark blond) if I shave to a #1 I look completely shaved. So, I leave it at about a #3 with the balls and shaft "clean". I don't shave my legs and get three hairs on my chest (I am German).

i shave my head with clippers every week. every other time, i also trim my leg hairs and pubes (and sometimes pit hair) so they don't get too jungle. i keep the pubes at about 1cm or so. if i can feel the backyard hair building up with the intent to create a brush fire, i shave it bare.

I'm sorta in College, already an adult, and I originally come from europe. I'v been to almost every state in the US, so i've pretty much seen it all. Met some very odd people and 9/10 of my freinds beleive in a religion that is completely different from mine. So i've been living in a diverse environment all my life. I don't think I'm going to grow out of anything. My mind is made, for those who listen, good for you. For those who don't, I never asked you to, it's a forum, it's a place where people talk, say what they want. I'm positive i have a lot more intelligent things to say than just sitting around talkings about balls

gamma_phi: I've tried it a few times. Trimming it down with a #1 guard. In fact, the first two of my pics are with hair, the third is after a trim later that day. May not be able to tell though since the pics were taken with my camera phone and aren't of great quality.

Some people become more accepting of others as they live longer and have more experience in life. If my way or no way is what works for you, then by all means, that should be your way. I personally read the forums to broaden my outllok on things. I don't agree with everything, but try to be understanding of the fact that many times there are ways other than mine to look at things and that is ok.
