I don't think any of those things killed his career, his stopping doing one of those things definitely did. When you start saying no, people started closing doors and then he went on his enlightenment as he really didn't have any real acting talent.

Well I remember when he was kind of a flashman Wade of the late 00s early 10s he was never so direct about saying he was straight like he does now (like there wasn't even avid denials of being gay/confirming he was straight that was common back then - especially in the acting community), that's all I meant by it.
